Some people here are men. A mans skill and ingenuity should be his first line of defense against catastrophe. There's only so much a single person can do, there's a reason we formed tribes and societies. Your idealism is pathetic, you might as well be blue pilled. My mother had no plan in having or raising me and I have no plan on relying on her for anything in this life. Just because your mother is trash doesn't mean you're some kind of superhuman devoid of instinct. You don't sound healthy.

Because blood relations are your first line of defence against catastrophe. Also you might be unknowingly putting yourself through alot of emotional distress by distancing yourself so greatly from your mother. I don't know your particular situation but if she's really bad a 'hey whats up' message once a month can suffice.

RPM is a disaster ideologically speaking, while the so called 'toolbox' is full of useful information in practice there's an obsession with being AF to the point of skirting on destroying your life or at the very least just wasting it, and they do this just because they want sex. It strikes me as a sort of cognitive dissonance.

Also, very few men are going to wait around long for sex. So it seems to me that RPW is playing the game from a position of weakness RPM is also playing the game from a position of weakness. It's not like it's just RPW.

They're encouraging women to be submisssive and not question their husbands' decisions. The opposite would induce strife for her, so long as she wishes the person to be her husband and her husband isn't asking her to do anything that is immoral she should listen to him. If you want someone to lead & protect you when you're pregnant or looking after children, you have to let them lead almost all the time. It's the same thing with the military.

Marriage is only stupid from the mans perspective if marriage has been engineered to harm them as state marriage has been today. The concept of marriage in and of itself should be the best option for both parties in an ideal world in order to foster strong relationships.

Looking after a person is alpha, giving without restriction is beta. The distinction is difficult to find (similar to being self-assured vs being arrogant) but it does exist. Take two similar situations: Your wife likes red dresses, so out of nowhere you buy a red dress you know she'll like and just leave her to find it, when she asks why you did that you just say you 'felt like it'. This is alpha behaviour, you have given to benefit the long term and without justification. Your wife pesters you…

No I think it's even worse than that, what they're effectively saying is they don't want to be held accountable. Of course there's a whole other discussion around the absurdity of western state marriage but that's a slightly different subject.

Aside from the fact that the statistic is a bit fudged as others have mentioned, sexual anarchy leads to people not having common understanding of the status of their relationship with a person, which ends up causing people to feel violated.

And if the man doesn't put effort into your above words Most men have no choice but to put at least some effort into those, they can't get anywhere in life without it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/19 04:39 PM
2

But just mere fact of having a penis does not automatically render you an appreciating asset It usually does, since the only way you can go is up. It's what you put into yourself that determines your asset value. If you're a woman, not so much. Men will forgive alot if you're pretty.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/19 03:22 PM
2

Maybe financially but not when it comes to sexual attractiveness The sort of things that cause a man to be sexually attractive are wildly dependent on the accumulation of wealth, knowledge and experience, things like working out, being able to dress well, being comfortable and certain with oneself, these are things that are built up over time.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/19 02:08 PM

If it's so damaging why are the majority of women participating in it and doing it over and over again? Same as any other addiction. Of course they enjoy the sex in the moment, the aftermath is where the damage kicks in.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/19 01:54 PM
0

I presume what he meant was 'of the men getting sex, most of them are getting casual sex'.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/19 01:50 PM
1

But if women have endless options why would they settle (in a relationship) with a guy they considered unattractive? Because they have run out of options. Men are an appreciating asset and need to be caught early on to profit, while women are a depreciating asset and must spend themselves wisely to avoid missing out on long term security. Alot of women will realise that they have spent themselves unwisely and will end up needing to sell what they have left at a loss.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/19 07:36 PM

What do ya'll think women should select for, that would "stop the decline"? Muscular, bearded, anti-consumerist, non-hedonistic intelligent, Muslim men who are in equal parts risk taking and responsible. What criteria should women reject a man on? Not being Muslim, being spineless, not going to your dad asap, oppressing or refusing to defend others, using drugs. I think you get the idea.

The paradigm of 'consent' as the only rule for sexual interaction needs to end, it's far too ambiguous. This problem is avoided entirely if relationships are arranged in a formal and proper manner.

It's quite simple, MGTOWs are sex/affection deprived so they cope by hating women and TRPers have deluded themselves into thinking they've broken out of the system while in actuality they're just as trapped as bloops.

Totally agree with your conclusion that it's immoral, but I disagree that it's without consequences for the men involved. These men are actively contributing to the inflation of women's value, as well as putting themselves at risk of being accused of rape, by women who likely actually feel they've been raped. It also prevents men from maturing; gaming and then having sex is childs play, while maintaining a relationship is hard work.

Humans do evolve that's obvious, I just believe we didn't evolve from the earthly creatures. Convergent evolution and the problems that come with it as well as other classification issues are a pretty good indicator to me that the tree of life isn't accurate.

Lipstick does change something though, unless it's green or purple or some color other than red. What I mean is that I can still figure out what the person underneath looks like. Why is there exception to dating? Wouldn't that be a specific instance of "always wearing it?" 'Always wearing it' isn't about specific instances, it's about the general. I make the exception for the same reason I'll excuse using a little gel on a date, the occasion calls for a little class.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/19 12:11 AM

So? We’re social creatures, how can you expect a person to feel like they’re good looking if nobody else thinks so? If you're not deformed this is probably not the case. Anyway this line of thinking demonstrates a certain amount of weakness that is undesirable. You can tell yourself you’re the hottest guy ever, but if no one else thinks so then you’re just unattractive. So? I'm not gonna start mutilating myself for other people.

Would this light makeup be enough to change someone's appearance? Not really no, I'm talking eye-liner and lipstick here. What about if they use makeup for every date they go on? It's acceptable for dates, I can understand wanting to seem presentable. Even then, don't overdo it.

There’s nothing wrong with changing your face if you don’t like how you look and aren’t getting the attention you want. I bring it up because this exact mentality is a massive red flag to me that indicates caring way too much about other's perception of yourself, to the point where you're willing to undertake risky and expensive surgery. Self acceptance is important and a sign of maturity.

Honest would be wearing artistic, no-makeup, or light makeup and not always wearing it. Dishonest would be caking on tons of makeup and only ever appearing with it on. Basically it's about moderation.

With plastic surgery I'm less concerned about the deceit and more disgusted and concerned with the mental health of the person. I don't mind makeup as long as it isn't being used in a deceitful or ugly way (e.g: always worn, tons of concealer & contouring etc).

If someone is an INFP I'm going to be more inclined to go to them for aesthetic questions and I'm going to be more careful with their emotions, if someone's an INTP I can be assured they'll be willing to discuss deeper subjects or engineering type stuff and will be unlikely to get offended, if someone's an ESTJ and I care what they think I'm going to put on a personality the list goes on. So yes, it's very much useful. After a while you learn to infer people's MBTI type from their behaviour.

He deserves what he gets. This is the obvious conclusion of the modern sexual marketplace, what did people think was going to happen when you remove all regulations and defenses? We're watching people slowly revert to primal sexual behavior. This guy likes to paint himself as some sort of alpha but he's just another guy begging for sex.

I want the man who loves me at his prime, not when he’s at his lowest point. The only way you can do that is by limiting the supply of available 'young, hot women' across society and reducing the amount of opportunities to 'meet' other potential partners.

MBTI is still a useful summary of someone's personality and is actually based on someone's personal opinions and experiences unlike horoscopes, it's just not very useful in a clinical setting.

It's more than that, marriage used to provide assurances about how the relationship would function and what happens in the case that the marriage turns sour. People gave it up because they feared responsibility, not realising the consequences it would have.

Actually studies show that there is no loss of sensation from circumcision, though it's pretty counter intuitive so I understand why you would think that. Permanent, unnecessary, physical changes to a child’s body may very well end up acting against them. Sure, but I'm unaware of any significant risk as a result of the procedures I'm ok with. But all of those other things are female circumcision? No, infibulation is female genital mutilation, it damages the ability of the genital to do its job (which is the criteria I use for what constitutes 'genital mutilation'). Any permanent cosmetic procedure performed on a very young child without their consent is wrong in my opinion. I would disagree, many choices are made without the consent of the child and I have no issue as long as it doesn't act against the child's interest.
