Yes, combining finances is crucial if you're already married. You guys are one now, and shouldn't think of money as "yours" and "his" it's just "ours" now.

Personally, I paid for my dress, makeup, and anything for the bridesmaids that I wanted. My husband covered the rest, though I'm sure he would have covered it all if I asked him too. I personally just wanted to take care of those things!

I'm 23, married for 2 years, and just had my first child 4 months ago. I couldn't be happier!

I'm going to list a few good resources, they are Christian resources, but honestly I don't know how else you would overcome this obstacle without God and sincere heart changes. https://ultimatemarriage.com/ https://marriageaftergod.com/

I wouldn’t be quick to diagnosing him with a mental disorder, but it honestly doesn’t sound like he’s at the maturity level for a meaningful relationship. I agree there seem to be many red flags.

I made a video talking about how feminism was actually lowering the value of traditional women a while back! here It basically talks about how feminists have created the mindset that women SHOULD want more than having a family. How that mindset can hurt traditional women because now they are expected to do it all and it undervalues the roles homemakers have.

I don’t think there’s much incentive for him to provide or make a bigger commitment with how things are currently. He’s getting all the benefits of being married to you without being married to you. He is also getting all the help at home without an end goal in sight. That’s fine for a season, but if you are providing the role as a homemaker + work, but would like to be solely a homemaker, his goal should be to eventually get to a point where you can do that. Or if you are both on separate pages…

Yes, hopefully, I know her husband is a cop so I can only imagine how their social and personal life has been effected. I wish people knew the majority of cops have good intentions. From what I've seen of them they seem like a very sweet and caring couple.

Yes, I've seen some of her videos! I think she took a pause on posting recently.

One goal of mine is to reach and encourage as many women as possible on my YT channel next month. For a set goal, I would love to double what I did this month, so 30k views would be amazing!!! Another goal would be to listen to all of the new testament on my audio Bible app. I have been loving listening to big chunks of scripture at one time during this crazy time in our world. It helps keep me calm.

Have you asked him what that means for him? It’s going to look different for everyone.

I don't think your marital status means you can't be feminine. There are plenty of feminine women/young women who aren't even at the age of having kids, being married, living on their own. I think femininity can be cultivated from a very young age. I also don't think that being feminine will necessarily make you a good wife. Each relationship and values are going to be different.

I think you can still have a lot of feminine traits and qualities without desiring to be married or having a family. I think it's a feminine design to want those things, but if you don't you can still be feminine.

Sure! Basically, with things like femininity and homesteading trending I feel like it can feel like you need to fulfill all these things to be a good wife. However, I've realized that I'll do these things and my husband won't actually care or appreciate it. He appreciates other things I do, but he doesn't care if I spend 30 minutes making dinner or all day making everything from scratch. Even though he doesn't care, these trends can make me feel like I need to accomplish more and do more. Basica…
