I have a funny feeling that your answer to, "Would you invite someone into your home who thought your wife or daughter was effectively an animal, to be bought sold and traded?" would be yes. I'm guessing you joined this sub because reading enough angry Western dudes' posts about women made you feel like they'll surely admire how your culture handles the "woman problem"?

I don't know if you'll ever be able to see it this way someday, but you deserve to. Your vulnerability is an incredible repellent and protective barrier against shitty people. Your girlfriend is not a good person, and you dodged the bullet of a lifetime. She couldn't stick with you through that, there's just no way she would have stuck around for the rest of life's hard times. She didn't back out because you were acting like an emotionally healthy person, she left because she's a crappy human be…

Agreed. There currently aren't enough. But I think the hope is that when young women see more and more suitably educated women employed in fields that were once dominated by men, we'll start to see a shift where both men and women are hired solely on merit alone. The vast majority of women don't exactly love the idea of being hired because they tick an EDI box (and I'm sure men don't love this either in fields like nursing and social work), but being employed in this market trumps their personal…

100% agree! I see this a LOT. A few of my friends are on the receiving end of these equity hires, and it still irks me when it's not entirely deserved. The hope is that more women become properly educated in the white-collar fields so that it doesn't feel like they're being hired when they are not fully qualified. I see this sort of thing in reverse where I work, but maybe not to the same degree. I'm in social work, which is traditionally dominated by women. Nowadays, literally anytime a man app…

Hey! I'm glad you were able to take the space you needed before coming back again. I got the sense from your last post that I may have inadvertently triggered you, and that was never my intention, so I apologize for that. So if you don't want to get into it... then don't get into it. Just stop I think there is a misunderstanding here. I did not want to be the one to tell you why. I wanted to allow you the opportunity to seek out your own understanding. it is that the feeling of being objectified…

I'm a bit lost with your response. You said lady fake name, but because that's not my user name, I didn't quite get what you were getting at as everyone here is essentially using a fake name. I didn't realize you were just repeating my name, so my bad. I'm guessing now it was the lady part that was supposed to stick out? Or maybe something is just going way over my head. Either way, yes, I'm a woman.

Well, color me embarrassed. I didn't know we were supposed to use our real names. My bad, ApprehensiveMail8. Anyway, I was simply pointing out why objectifying people sucks ass. That's really it. I don't speak with blanket statements and do my best not to generalize, but I'd guess that the vast majority of women do not care about being occasionally looked at by someone. It's the gawking that is uncomfortable. I won't get into why this can be uncomfortable for women because I have a funny feeling…

It's not dick pics that are the issue. It's unsolicited dick pics that are the issue. Wait till you have kids or nieces or nephews, and you'll see why unsolicited pics aren't cool. If someone wants to see a dick, they'll ask. Jeez. Are you also down with public flashers just because some men would love it if a woman (ugly or not) walked over and flashed her naked body (again, ugly or not, you're not given the option to choose!) at him? Think about that one before responding. Oh but wait, if the …

I think I get what you mean here, but here's an example that might expand on your ideas a bit. You go out for dinner with your girl. You notice that she's checking out the male servers more than just casually. No biggie, she's just looking and appreciating their attractiveness. Then, later, you find out that she's not merely noticing and appreciating their looks, but she's actually masturbating to and fantasizing about these men (sadly, this is sooooo not rare). Now, to some, this sort of thing …

is almost equivalent of a rich guy deliberately burning money in front of a bunch of homeless guys. This part got me thinking of my brother. My brother makes around 200k to 250k. He's the most amazing person I know. He's a tradesman and very successful. While he doesn't burn his money in front of homeless people, he does hide it when seeking a new relationship. Before judging, he does this to ensure he's attracting women for the right reasons--for his personality and who he is at his core. Once …

I don't see where he says he's against abortion. I think that's why he's baffled by her reaction.

This seems like a quick fix. Tell her you 100% support abortion and just want it to be safe. For it to be safe, it needs to be legal. Tell her you agree with legalizing abortion. She likely took what you said the wrong way and might think that you don't support the right to safe abortions for the mother. She may have assumed you were saying that women shouldn't have the right to abort. If she's very pro choice, her assumption and reaction does not surprise me. It's just how some pro choice folks…

Good lord, no. Far from always. My husband makes triple what I make, and my job is far more taxing. I know this; he knows this. If we divorce, I'll barely be able to rent a room. He'll own a house. I'm not remotely special, and there are a lot of women in a similar situation.

Absolutely agreed, which is frightening when one considers that YouTubers and the like are pushing ideas that they themselves don't believe. Tell me to say beets taste like chocolate for a million follower$, and I'll do it in a heartbeat. Times are tough; people go where the money takes them. I think most adults understand this concept, but it's the younger generation who falls for it all hook, line, and sinker. Critical thought isn't a thing anymore as long as the next media star is telling us …

I don't think stating facts is the issue. It's when it's stated as, "men have it harder than women," where it can be labeled as "incelly." Fact would be, "men have it hard." Because they do. Leave it at that, and only the ridiculous will push back. Nobody reasonable would think men have it easy.

So you want the girl who harassed you? That makes zero sense and mocks the point of this original post. I wish I had his problem. So you want to be harassed? Again, how does this make sense.

There were atleast laws for the protection of women from rape These laws came about quite late for women, though (and with a lot of effort), but I understand what you mean. Unfortunately, rape against men and women is still not a criminal offense in far too many countries. A spouse can literally force their partner to have sex and it isn't considered rape. It's crazy, I know. We have a long way to go. there are a lot men now who are opening up about their rape cases both in media and online. It'…

I think the hope is that if men begin to come forward with their experiences, things will change at the legal level. Women used to hide their experiences out of shame and embarrassment. It's only when more and more began sharing their experiences that that systems started doing something about it. Men who are raped are obviously not coming forward about it at the same rate. This needs to change. There needs to be an environment created where they feel no shame for doing so.

This has me wondering if things would change if more men felt comfortable coming forward about their own experiences with rape or assault. I've been to parties where I've seen women groping guys who were clearly not okay with it, but nothing ever happens from it. Youtube the video with Gaston being groped at Disney World and it's clear that women feel entitled to a free pass, but what's the next step to changing the system to taking this sort of thing more seriously? If men don't speak out about…

Take pride in your ability to resist sexual temptation by refusing to pursue only but the best and purest woman for you This. And the rule works beautifully for women as well. Women don't want a dude who has had a million partners. Women ultimately want a guy who is selective because it means that the woman they chose isn't just the only one who happened to stick around.

I feel like I'm going to make this seem way too simple, so forgive me if I do, but don't date someone who doesn't offer to go Dutch when it comes to dates. It's not the 50s. Women can and will pay their own bill during a date. At least the decent ones will. This way, if either of you isn't interested, you're not out a bunch of money. Any woman who is turned off by you for not paying for the entire date is not worth your time. You'd be dodging a bullet.

Ikr!? Honestly, doing anything that makes a woman orgasm is super duper gay. Luckily, women loathe having orgasms, so it makes it easier not to cross the line into Gayville.

Sex is not a commodity for the vast majority of women and plenty of men. For sex workers, it is. It's just that simple. Hence why I said men who view sex as such should feel free to engage with sex workers. My answer is yes of course he should be entitled to sex even if she doesn't 'feel like it' and if you disagree then YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. You're into having sex with women who don't want you inside of them. That's a you thing. Really let that sink in. Are you that lonely? If so, I'm really sor…

Actually I don't further your support of what you are saying You really and truly do. In fact, you did it again. You just can't see it. This doesn't make you a bad person; it just makes you a bit naive and impressionable. This will likely change as you get older. in assessing resource commitment and paid/unpaid labor inputs towards the other person "for" sex doesn't mean I don't enjoy my partner pleasure.. And that little word is how you support my idea. If you view sex as a commodity, you will …

So, you only further support what I'm saying then. You aren't the kind of person who gets horned up by getting your partner horned up. If you did, you would feel like sex is a win-win because the person you're having sex with would enjoy it as much as you. Simplified, you wouldn't feel like you're succumbing to anything. I find most men get this concept, but there is this small group of angry men who don't. Why is this? Genuinely curious.

Our ancestors were never lucky enough to have access free sexual content. Our ancestors also didn't live among a plague of "deathgrip" and porn addiction. If they wanted a satisfied woman who liked sex, they actually had to do more than just focus on Mr. Willie's pleasure. People fail to appreciate that porn is far more equitable in a cost benefit analysis in terms of sexual access per unit of resource input. Hold up...you do understand that porn and sex are not comparable, yes? If porn is just …

After the fire is out, when you ask her what she means when she says these things and where do these thoughts come from, what does she say?

Because a lot of women are hetero-romantic bisexuals, like me. I've never been with a woman , and have zero desire to be, but I'm sexually attracted to them. In a nut shell, I like boobs (vaginas not so much), and so I prefer watching lesbian porn because I'm likely to see women playing with boobs. *hetero-romantic means a person who is only interested in romantic relationships with the opposite sex and has zero interest in dating or being with the same sex intimately.
