im just sick of never hearing what the teenager has to say in these cases. We are supposed to listen and believe everything when its a woman but if they are a day under 18 the adults decide they know best and we never hear what the victim had to say.

No one was complaining that she hadnt explicitly refferred to her gender. The issue is that in certain situations society usually gives women a pass and it is just generally assumed that a woman will get away with it. Amber Heard is the kinda shit I expect to see here and shes the perfect example since she actually did get away with it the first time. Its generally assumed that in abuse cases the woman is always right even though they clearly arent.

The people staring are the ones who sexualize it. She didnt exactly have her tits out either. These kind of puritanical views arent universally shared, not everyone views nudity as sexual in every circumstance and its a bit troubling that its the first thing on everyones mind if they can see a nipple through a shirt. i really dont think this belongs here. She wasnt being rude about it at all as far as the article you linked says.
