Yeah I'll just wait it out. Do you think it's a good idea to text her back in like a week if she doesn't text back first? I just want to know where her thoughts are at. Or should I just leave it be? But at the same time, you're right. I shouldn't get hung up over someone that doesn't want me. I guess I'm not used to rejection yet haha.

You're in highschool. It's not that deep. So I say go for it! What's the worst that could happen? It's not like you're gonna see any of these people again after you graduate. And imagine how good you'll feel if it does work out! DM her and just ask her about school as that's where you met her. Since your older than her, ask her about the classes she's taking and if she needs help on anything.

You're literally overthinking it. That little eye contact you had meant nothing. Just ignore her. If she had wanted you, she would've said something the first time you approached her. Sorry for being pessimistic, but it is what it is.

Yea that's kinda what I thought too! She said her real feelings while being drunk. I am optimistic about her saying yes, but hopefully not too optimistic. Thanks for replying!

Thank you for replying! This is really good advice. Now that you mention it, me bringing up what she said when drunk would put her in an awkward place. And that is exactly what I do not want to do. As you said, I will see if I can take it slowly and see how she feels about formal and hanging out with me.
