I'm 44 now, but I couldn't relate to that even back then... probably like 80/20 at best for me, though I was a catch back in my day lol

How hard up are you mfers, I'm a guy and don't relate to this at all... maybe my standards are too high, or your percentages aren't thought out.

It means just be yourself if you're a pleasant person, if you're not it means you gotta work on yourself before you expect much of anything pleasant in life.

I'm not in the dating pool and have no desire to return even if I was, so my opinion is about as unbiased as it's gonna get here... just an old dude watching another dude be a dumbass, my drivel was just my own opinion which was pretty objective; stop focusing on shit you can't change, especially stuff that doesn't have to effect you at all. These little self-regulating incel/femcel groups are damn near identical from my perspective, they both focus on people they don't like and expect them to c…

Are you playing with a full set? Everyone has an ego, especially a guy who expects the world to bend to their dumbass beliefs like you're doing here. Not only do you think it makes sense to upend your entire existence because a subset of people EXIST that you don't like, you're coming in here think it makes sense for others to do the same. The dynamic of men and women will never be identical, it's silly to pretend they will or even should be... as if you have any say in the matter anyways. How's…

I mean, this is a pretty poorly branded sub to compare against the mothership. Compare the bigboy incel nests to that one. I do think the incel bunch and that sub share a lot in common though, the "Project an the worst image of the minority you can find onto the majority in your head and get upset over the evil ghosts you've created together" model. ... I don't know who's getting away with anything doing this, certainly no one playing this game is coming away a winner.

Step #1: View a bunch of people (gender, race, politics) as one thing. Step #2: Hate the strawman caricature you've created for this entire group. ... Step #4: Profit? The world wasn't psychologically ready for the internet as a whole, people are hating ghosts that have never existed on the scale they've created in their minds.

I was describing a particular type of person that exists and if a person takes offense to that description applying to them it's not really a strawman anymore is it? As for me I don't have anyone like this in my life, and honestly I can only think of two acquaintances in my entire life that I would say fell into the into the trap. If an "incel" is a regular guy that doesn't fit the description I was talking about then. I'm talking about people who live in these subs, the ones who's personality b…

I didn't fully understand what he meant in his first comment so I checked his history to verify what I thought, then noticed the excessive amount of it... but I frequently check histories because I'm just a curious boy sometimes. This is a pretty incel-heavy channel so it was a coin-flip on how I predicted the reception to my comment, I usually get downvoted pretty heavily saying some anti-X stuff in a (mostly) pro-X sub. You think most men are incels?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/24 10:39 PM

If you want to classify yourself as an incel with a distorted perception of reality then I guess it's personal.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/24 08:17 PM

Really just the last part, if you took all of what I said as a personal attack it just confirms what I said in the comment itself. While that last part can be easily framed as a personal attack, it was based in a hope that you'd step back and look at how unproductive it is, but let your unnecessary self-persecution continue if you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/24 07:49 PM

Non-incel men hate being around incels, no one wants to be around a person who is in a constant state of negatively distorting their reality about how the world isn't fair to them. A comment like this doesn't even deserve a response, it's to revalidate an existing view of the person saying it... but ultimately it's just vaguely unprovable nonsense. Look at your comment history, you're ingesting and regurgitating this shit daily... looks to be every day for the last month at least. Nothing good c…

That's their choice and if they can pull it off they should, that's just a logical choice to go for the best if you can. If not, they can cross the bridge of changing their views or remain indefinitely frustrated that their not getting what they want. I really find it to be the same kind of mentality incels get themselves into, focusing on the worst subset of a subset of people to remain with frustratingly rigid views over the internet with like-minded invidividuals. I mean, you name any large g…

Would you expect a normal woman to "fix" an incel? It's just the inverse to your situation. As obvious as it is, find a person that is not like this instead of trying to fix people you aren't compatible with.
/r/MensRights19/04/24 02:01 PM

Just like most of the problems with these gender/political/racial internet clubs, applying your (uncommon) personal experience to your entire gender shows a lack of empathy and understanding to the broader world. You don't speak for all women, these incels don't speak for all dudes... you/they don't even speak for most of them.

This isn't restricted to the incel boys, people trying to judge and control the uncontrollable world around them end up in a bitter feedback loop seeking likewise individuals to validate their views. They don't win any prizes and waste their life.

Everyone is supposed to change to develop as a human, I've been a moderately different person every 5ish years of my life. I'm almost the complete opposite person I was in my 20s now that I'm in my 40s... It unsettles me to imagine the thought of staying the same person. IMO This has little to do with dating or the opposite sex, as women do this too, dating is just one of the things that will show how flawed it is to lock yourself in place.

Some people blow off steam for a stint and some people come for the long haul, to rot indefinitely. Whether short or long term, I've yet to see a positive outcome from surrounding yourself around similarly bitter people in a feedback loop of validation while the world tells you otherwise and passes you by... Some people are just fortunate enough to snap out of it quickly. This is true for all these bitter religious, political, race, and gender posses that start to stew into little hate groups.

150 years? We have some better stuff already, especially in the psychedelic realm, in terms of poisoning the body at least. I don't regret my alcohol time with friends back in the day, some of my best memories are there, but I shouldn't have taken the party home with me.

It makes some sense to me, most women and them are just on such polar ends of the spectrum that it's hard to relate to. I had nothing go for me from puberty to ~17ish, not a glance from the opposite sex, which was probably for the best because I wasn't in the mental position to handle much then anyways. But I turned the ship physically and socially and got to feel what it was like to be wanted, including a friends sister trying to fuck me while I was drunk (after consistently shewing her off me …

I'm just a guy, and I've been a broken guy, but never a bitter broken guy towards women... I just don't relate and don't like participating in the game. If being pretty alone works it works, if that's what you want you figure out what they want... that's just a logical fair trade, I could never get angry at that without looking at myself as the problem in the equation. The question was about wisdom and you said "not really", followed by describing them becoming wise to the fact that they need to adapt to the change in their situation. Honestly, from their perspective, they played it perfectly if they exploited their beauty while they were young and easily reigned it in in theirs 30s. I've seen plenty of women do just that, and I know you wish they had to pay some price, but it's entirely down to how they handle that crossroad. It's really not that different fr…

Do guys find emotional vulnerability attractive? Yes. They like feeling like a man a woman can rely on. We all got that simp spirit in us I was always drawn more towards emotionally hardened people like myself, probably because the relatability factor is paramount for me... Social media is a reflection of real life. You think that thousands of videos with millions of views each of girls hating on short men doesn't represent a real-world phenomenon? Does the reflection look similar to this? I don't modify my life or views because a small amount of toxic people exist in any other aspect of my life, so why should I focus on and blow this up in my head just to make myself angry? Basic research demonstrates that most people dont struggle with things like dating, losing virginity, findign work, maintaining a stable friend group, etc. C'mon, they remake this movie every decade because it's such an extremely common and relatable coming of age tale. Where are you getting your basic research from?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 03:46 PM

Never heard about this, but is it as basic as it looks from my googling that he was trying to change her behaviors and she put him on blast over him wanting her to cover up calling that "emotional abuse"? Is having arguments emotional abuse now? I mean he's behavior and requests are lame, and together they seem to be a toxic stew, but whatever she's doing seems like some petty fame whoring.

The usual encapsulation of this sub; a venn diagram of two groups of people, but it doesn't matter if they crossover into eachother on the diagram it all, it's just about focusing on the group that bugs you at the expense of your sanity. The world is dead set on making women feel better, acknowledging women's problems, protecting women, talking about how we can make them feel better, but when a man speaks up he might well have just said he murdered your pets for all the empathy he's going to receive. I don't want to go down the pity party, but I definitely relate to having a hellish portion of my life, however mine was extremely sharp within a 3 year span of hopelessness, followed by more of a "shellshocked" portion afterwords which lead me down a road of avoiding (without truly realizing) the reality of it in one way or another for the next 20 years. Some may need therapy to see the obviousness of the situation; For whatever reason they're not getting reciprocation from the people they want reciprocation from. That's the root problem and it's something they don't have control over and needs to be faced at some point. We can dance around that fact and blame the people they want as much as they like, but the fact of the matter is it's an unrealistic expectation. Why generalize the outcome. Like everything else they work well for many people, sedate others or worse, focusing on the positive or negative is just supporting a bias. But for me, an extremely vivid dissociative experience can do wonders like nothing else... What "better" is to a person changes with time and is hard to quantify in general. I don't understand half the lingo in this sub, including most of these pill colors and whatever the "S word" is... but you don't need to concern yourself with any of this as it resolves itself: The intent is pretty important here and it's a gradient that you're focusing on the worst end of, do you know anyone who is solely in the constant chase of dopamine at the expense of others that is happy? So if you were the richest man in the world you'd rather lose your hand than lose half the money, while still remaining the richest man on earth (at the time)? I'm no Bezos, but I'm doing well enough to know the relationship between wealth vs. time and quality of life begin to separate... I'm not envisioning it, but I guess we'll never know.

"women" want X. "men" want Y. No one should be confident in their position of what the majority wants, we just have too much bias in our little bubbles to get that done. Almost every comment I'm seeing in this broken thread, including yours now, is creating the worst caricature of the opposite sex they can imagine and then convincing themselves it's the majority... I can agree with this to some degree, it's definitely better than blasting this stuff in real life at least. On the other hand, is the short-term validation here at the expense of the long-term? There's a bit of a negative feedback loop here for those who don't figure it out. And yeah, like you eluded, this shit oozes out of person if you stay in it long enough.

Could sum all this up as: "having to depend on your partner for your livelihood is a terrible position to be in, a position where you objectively have less control in the relationship and to some degree your own life." It's interesting that so many people in those two groups you define don't recognize the parallels to each other. Not so much about what I think will happen, it was just the only way I could imagine it not ending up unchanged for women, because whether you like it or not the options always remain on their side of things. You cannot defeat the biological disposition. Ah shit, we're redefining old pills and making new pills?! I've never even heard of blackpill until now. Id argue that most teenage boys that are highly successfull with girls were and are naturally inclined to live a redpill lifestyle even if they dont know or understand anything about it. Anyways, you're telling me women don't want to go with the angry anti-social guy incessantly talking about how things aren't fair in a never-ending feedback loop of negativity? I'm a guy and don't want to be around this negative shit either. I see people here complaining about people telling them to "be themself" and it doesn't help them, I think the people saying it assume the person has redeeming qualities und…

If a person is wrapping their identity up in this pill shit enough to join a subreddit like this it's sort of over before it even started. Then again, I'm sure there are plenty of people here that just like to remind themselves of what not to do.

I periodically try to point this out in hopes of shaking a few people out of this circular hellish state of mind, it's probably futile but it costs me nothing and it's about the only thing I can think to do. I'll jump on this comment you made: where's the Incel women? It's a similar outcome, it's just a different way to get there. As sex itself is generally in their control, you see this manifestation as women who constantly demand perfection from their potential/imaginary partners... basically …

but that they deny this is happening. Who is "they" exactly, some handful of people you're painting as a majority in your mind? This is the thought process that makes these kind of subreddits poison for the mind. You find yourselves at odds with some portion of the population, so what does one do? You find yourself a group that does nothing but focus on the group you don't like online. So now you're consuming this shit daily with like-minded individuals, constantly amplifying the bad and burying…

I'm not saying groups of man-hating women don't exist, there's groups based on hate for pretty much everything... I'm saying it doesn't matter. The people that live in these hate-based narratives, just like this one or the female-equivalent, are transparently miserable people. I wish you could see the onslaught of disgusting man-hating propaganda I've experienced throughout my life. I've noticed a side-effect of living in these groups, it's a constant feed of information that only confirms whate…

So the kind FDS and TwoX types make up by cherry picking posts from 4chan and other dark corners of the internet? Yes, I don't know FDA, but I took a gander at the TwoX one some time ago and it seemed to be the same kind of thing. Does it make you feel better watching women do the same dumbass shit making themselves miserable? I'm not a fan of any of these dumbass groups, they all do nothing for me.

Sometimes I wish more people took dissociative/psychedelic trips who need them, or whatever it takes to lose the ego and sense of self. It starts to look real silly having to maintain all these bullshit narratives that have never served anyone well and have no objective truth. ...or just stick to this clubs with the us vs. thems, seems like it's improving lives out here.

Is there an epidemic of women demanding things from men and if they don't get it they'll start shooting up the place? I've never had a woman I'm not involved with in some way demand shit from me, and I generally like people who don't demand shit. They don't owe me and I don't owe them. Why do you think you're entitled and owed something, can't you see the glaring hypocrisy here?

Believe me, if this were an issue that mainly affected women, we'd have already thrown billions of dollars in identifying and solving the problem. But because it affects disposable men, nobody gives a fuck. This is the kind of thinking that feeds these shitty ass clubs, see it in every damn one of them down to the political ones. There's always a "them" it wouldn't happen to, getting preferential treatment, or just generally "getting away" with something. These shitass clubs couldn't survive wit…

Is there an answer you're purposing? I'll be honest I was a prototype of a school shooter earlier in my life, if I had easy access to firearms in my mid-teens I don't know what terrible choices I might have made. I didn't really assess or even fully understand the trauma of some things that happened earlier in my life, which manifested itself in some warped thinking I can't even relate to anymore. My personal issue wasn't around women, as they were not the source of my problems, but I can rememb…

The older I've gotten the easier it is for me to see the women's perspective on this. There are two kinds weakness; the kind that is showing legit vulnerability, and the incel brand that typically comes out in angry demands and entitlement. Honestly, it goes outside relationships, everyone likes authentic vulnerability in friends and no one wants to be around these bitter fucks. no one gives a flying fk about the incel that struggles to talk to women. That is…until he shoots up a school. You don…

Even if all this is true it's out of any individuals control to change the societal preferences of the opposite sex. So it's either changing your mentality or digging yourself another hole into becoming a bitter person constantly gripping about the hand you're dealt, compounding an already sad situation into a hopeless one.

not anywhere, under any circumstances. I dunno... 20yo me thought like that, 41yo me thinks catering to my useless ego is the beta thing. If the relationship wasn't that serious or he was legitimately over it that's about as baller as it can get keeping your ego in check, if he's crying in the corner after he closed the door his baller status is in question.

Did he make it known he upset about any of this? Is it possible he was just over it but still liked to hangout with the same bunch? Pretty alpha move if it's that.

You're using some nonexistent/abstract "communism" strawman you just set up. I can't speak for an imaginary thing without context. I don't imagine the mentality of such a place would be identical of similar to this place. If it was "Communism going its own way", or the anti of it, I would think similarly if all they talked about was how the opposite of it sucks. You're doing some mental gymnastics to make this subreddit good for your diet.

There are shit posting sub making fun of capitalism, communism, red pill, mra, the list is long, i doubt you think people visting those subs are discontent with life I have a similar point of view towards any group that basis its activity/existence around bashing another point of view. Modern feminism, not to be confused with feminism that had a purpose decades ago, has gone down a similar rabbit hole to this. I find most of the groups you're referring to as part of the same problem, a bunch of …

I'm just acknowledging what I'm seeing. You're giving me dismissive pats on the back and rationalization a "shit posting" forum as a positive thing. In the context of this subreddit's echo chamber my perception is probably viewed as skewed, but taken out of this place I'd say my perception is more aligned to neutral. I mean, how many divisive voices do you find in a place like this? This conversation is rare here. Do you think it's possible your own perception might be skewed being in a place li…

If you think remaining active in an environment like this is healthy for your brain then continue rationalizing it to each other in these echo chambers. I guess we both win, you get to do your thing and I get to derive odd pleasure watching it from a safe distance. I think we both deserve some pats on the back here.

It's the fact that if you're on a shit posting sub/forum it inherently shows your discontentment of the situation, the participation in it essentially shows your hand. If I what I saw on this subreddit was about men doing their own things in a productive/liberating manner, void of depending on women, I would think just that. But the vast majority of what is on here is bitterness towards women and grasping to find double standards. This is not men going their own way at all, this is men defeating…

I just come to this subreddit to watch the bitterness fester and feed itself in a circle-jerk fashion, which says something lacking in my character most likely, but I'm not in the club and can try to make the argument: I was happy when I was alone and single, which was way more/longer than most people, and never had any kind of bitterness towards women during any of it. If you're happy and content being alone you have no need and aren't on this subreddit, it seems obvious to me.
