Thanks, I have already trimmed the beard. Unfortunately another user point out that I may have MPB so I am going to a dermatologist tomorrow to get some medicine for that. I will also be getting a haircut. My face is OK but not good enough I am afraid. I am approaching surgery cautiously tho

Shoot you are right. I'm like 95 percent sure it is receding, it's always been high. I asked my family and they say they don't notice a difference but it's subtle. Do you think finasteride can regrow hair? And did you have any side effects? I think you are right. TBH I do think I look decent from the front too! Maybe I'm biased but another used said I kind of look good but I could get better, that's what I'm hoping for. Thanks!! I am getting a haircut soon and I already shaved the beard trim. Everyone says that but then in real life it's not the case, I am ignored by women, even when I try to be confident. If I don't have severe issues, then why do you say I look "melted"? Doesn't that just mean the maxilla is flat? Is it just my eyes and eyebrows? Or more the brow ridge and forehead? I don't think much can be changed about the forehead. Have you seen r/jawsurgery ? There are definitely big differences in aesthetics. I am going to see a maxillofacial surgeon and have them do some mock ups. Another user suggested distraction osteogenesis. Is eyelid surgery dangerous? My neighbor is a reputable plastic surgeon and I am considering talking to him about it. He would probably do it for cheap because we are family friends.

I don't know honestly. This is tough because some users are saying I'm fine but then some users say I look melted and I will have to "betabuxx". I don't want a relationship where I am not attractive to the other person, you know? Yes style is pretty bad right now. Hair I am getting medications for tomorrow. Part of why it's hard is because I have no confidence, then I do try and get shut down or ghosted, and it's like a cycle.

I am getting finasteride and minoxidil tomorrow to get hair regrowth. I've had a stressful year and lost a lot of hair. I am trying to not think about that so much, but tbh I do think there are some good points. Even ignoring the idea of angles, it does seem like my nose and lower chin don't really mesh well together.

I've felt like my looks are holding me back in general. Frankly most of my friends have had multiple relationships while I have never had one. Some people have said I look OK but then no one wants to date me, or at-least not anyone I am interested in.

I've always had a high hairline but I am going to a dermatologist to get finasteride and minoxidil tomorrow. I think it is receding. Keep in mind the photos are from an Iphone front facing camera so there is some small distortions.

Thank you for saying what you think. A lot of people say I look fine but I feel like there is a disconnect between that and my lack of dating life. Why is that the only thing I can fix? Another user suggested jaw surgery to move the maxilla forward, eyebrow darkening, and canthoplasty. Do you think I have MPB? I've always had a really high hairline. I am seeing a dermatologist tomorrow so I might get finasteride and minoxidil and start taking that.

Haha well I could slightly de project the nose, fix up the eye area, and move the maxilla forward and that would really help. The pictures are from a front facing Iphone camera so there is some distortion.

Thank you! I do see a psychologist but it's tough, a lot of women say I look fine but then no one is really interested in dating me. Yes my style and bear is really bad right now, but even when I had better style and a clean shave I was still really struggling. The rest of my life is actually great but it's tough. Thank you for suggesting to lift weights, I try, but my face got really chubby after I tried bulking. I am going to try again.

Hey thanks for the reply. Since I took those pics I have shaved haha. I will get a haircut too. Yeah I do lift, my arms are actually quite good but my upper chest and traps and shoulders are horrible. I've always been a skinny guy so the gains are slow and I was getting chubby so I've backed off the excessive calories. My goal is to be 185 pounds one day, lean muscle. I do think I used to be a lot leaner (6 pack) so that could help. I'm more worried about facial structure than those other things…

Thanks, I appreciate that! I have really struggled to get dates but I've also been doing exclusively OLD because of covid. My hairline is sadly very high naturally but I am going to be very closely watching in case it moves back any more!
