Pay very close attention to what here relationship is like with past partners and how she speaks of them. If all of them are horrible bastards that she has nothing to do with then very likely you will be so in the future. People should have feelings for their ex if they are an emotional mature adult who was in a serious relationship. That is not to say look for someone who isn't over their ex. But mature people don't cut out, harm or hate people they supposedly were in love with for years.

Any poor treatment of Christian and other minorities in Gaza pales vastly in comparison to being deliberately slaughtered in Gaza or the perpetual harassment and beatings Armenian and Palestine Christians experience in Israel from Israelis.

Unfortunately the US loves categorizing things often for the purpose of hate. It sucks and I will you in that everyone should be judged on there own behaviour and the world being a complex place that defies simple characterizations.

That is the truth. My biggest complaint about the progressive movement is it has just repackaged bigotry and discrimination in other directions. Not saying it is equal but increasing prejudices doesn't cancel out old ones it just increases the amount of prejudice in the world.

It is a mistake to look at people as parties or coherent groups. Of course there is always be a majority of fools especially in places that allow a person performative anonymity. But am I loosing faith that people are entitled to be provided with shelter, health care, food a quality of life at the expense of the wealthy? Am I breaking with employees have the right to free time, work place safety and peace of mind on the job because of loud mouth on the internet? Really left or right only conveys…
