Speaking of risk factors, how do you think these small benefits compare to the risk of complications? They're rare in hospitals, but lots are also performed by religious figures, not doctors. Yeah, it depends on the circumstances and bank. When it happened to me it took weeks to get my money back, though this was back in like 2009 so it's entirely possible that most banks have improved their procedures since then.

The fraud protection is often about the same, but the big difference is that fraudulent charges take money out of your bank, rather than adding to your bill. So, while you'll probably eventually get your money back you have to deal with having that money missing from your account in the meantime.

One other note: Something like half of Federal government revenue comes from individuals income taxes. Most of the other half is payroll and corporate taxes. Since 1-ish trillion of that money is going to come out of the pockets of citizens anyway, what's the point of paying it out to them in the first place if they earn over some minimum base income ? Yes I agree that the ethical issues get more and more significant the later in the pregnancy the abortion is done. That said, it looks like a better data point is more like 9 weeks, as most most abortions are done in the first 9 weeks and at that point organs are still forming and the heart is just starting to beat. My friends were going through a divorce recently, luckily no kids and they were being very friendly and cooperative about it. If anyone can tell me a quicker way to collect a list of suitable soldier candidates, convince them to join up, train, outfit, and deploy a defensive force better than conscription, please let me know. The United States has one of the largest and best outfitted militaries in the world, certainly capable of defending its borders... And it's full of volunteers.
