Yes i do agree but for it to work with MRAs they would have to weed out white supremacists that hurt the MRA movement. Until that happens that kind of unification among men that you see with women won't really be possible. I would bring it back to encourage conversations among men of different races & political beliefs so that they can see they are not that different and possibly share tips and participate in online and maybe offline activism.

IMO a lot of transphobia targeted at trans women is rooted in misandry. TERFs will confront trans-women with the same aggressive energy they confront cis men with. They label them pervs & rapists like they do cis men. I know 2 IRL and they've both given examples that sound pretty close to misandry like one bringing her son to the park and the police being called and with the other one being told not to train her son to be a perv because at 3 he accidentally bumped into a woman at the store.

Point out the racism in it and stick to your guns. I've had to do this when dealing with women who will label certain demographics of men creeps based off of stereotypes and not actually speaking to them. Women like that often forget that one of the most prolific serial killers was a chad whose name was ted bundy.

What i think it is that they think that when it comes down to cis-men that false accusations are rare but if you look at their reactions to false accusations of trans-women & trans men there is more sympathy and doubt in the situation. A example i have seen IRL was a friend of mine who is MTF when she was working on her PhD/JD she was falsely accused( and outed) by a student over a grade. She got harassed severely and had an offer from a school that was looking a her rescinded and the complaint …

I will say as a black man i support it but to me they do not do enough to address false accusations and other things that affect men that look like me. However i also think MRAs often blame "the lack of of father figures" too much when it comes down to the circumstances of black men.

As a black man in the southern US feminism doesn't care about people like me and has villainized people of my race. I also don't like how they treat women that don't agree with their beliefs nor their hypocrisy. I don't hate it but what feminism is in a dictionary and in reality doesn't add up.

While this Reddit page still has a while to go we're not toxic. You just have some men who have been hurt by women and I believe if you see/saw similar rants on the feminist forums you wouldn't be calling it toxic it would be venting. Sometimes I do think we are blinded by our pain and missing out on valuable allies.
