I did commercial roofing for 2.5 years. I am being honest, in the entire union nation wide there was only a small handful of women and they usually didn't work for long. This is a job that 9/10 MEN got into wouldn't last more than a couple weeks. It's no joke. Some jobs just aren't meant for women, and that is OKAY! If a woman wants to do these jobs and can physically handle it without any special treatment then of course I support it. But it's extremely rare.

As far as the emotional side of things I think you are okay. When you don't cry is when I think it starts becoming a problem for your mental health. And military I would recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested. Wĥy? Thanks man I appreciate it, and really I think anyone that is able and willing to travel should. The cost CAN also be way less than people realize. Living in The Dominican Republic when not at work actually costs less than the United states and I save money even with round-trip flights included.

I hate to come in here and be labeled "a passport bro" but I travel alot and work in a field that allows me to live anywhere with extended time off. I dated a kenyan woman for 2 years, unfortunately that didn't work out for various reasons but I just got a place in the dominican republic and am dating a woman here. I work in an industry with almost 100 percent men, and have extended time off and don't spend my time off in the United states unless I have to. I also try to limit my time looking at social media that talks about this topic. I know most people aren't able or willing to do this so I'd say just stay off social media mainly. I wouldn't say avoid women completely but sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze, especially in the states.
