So... if I may ask a question? In your opinion should a single mother not look for male companionship for the rest of her life? Or should she wait until her children are grown up, even if that means she is now old and equally undesirable?

The only way to avoid that conundrum is to not have become a single mom to begin with. This is what you said, is it not? I asked a logical question, with two ways that are outside of the person in questions control, as to ways someone might be a single mother. Exactly how is that emotional blackmail??
