7	Many comments mentioned how this defense is brought up by racists/sexists who like to generalize. Amazing they couldn't see how 'all men' is the same thing. I notice that they are calling on men for their help and being an ally. But I often see when men ask for women to be allies on men's issues, I see a common response of we need to fight for our own issues. We need to get out and march on our own, like they have to. If there was an event to help reduce male suicide, we shouldn't ask why this event exists just because female suicide is a problem too. I found this one that does talk about colleges trying to attract men on the low because of pressure from women's groups and fear of showing affirmative action towards men. 2	I honestly feel like male spaces no longer exist anymore When men do try to address it with programs , there are sexism complaints and they get shut down. It is either pushes for all or pushes for women. (Edit) But I agree. We should put a focus on this. More men in education would be a good start. Girls have a girl option that is just as well known and sells cookies that are loved. They do the same camping trips, earn badges.. but girls are allowed into boy scouts. 1	Anyone else think men are shamed for having any preference while dating? Most women when I talk to them are reasonable and accept men have preferences just like they do. But the vocal, online, feminist group that talk about this kind of thing, they shame men for any preference at all while promoting women's preferences is legitimate and just having standards.
