Fair enough. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do because I'd much rather see a "Sleeping with an Escort fixed all my anxiety! " follow-up post than a "Help me Seddit I can only get laid if I pay a hooker!" follow-up post. I'm not trying to be facetious; I would much rather you prove me wrong. I'll be the first to admit that what I said was wrong. But until then, good luck.

I'd say it's a perfectly reasonable definition considering you're walking into a trap that you're springing on yourself. All logical fallacies aside, I'm not going to tell you not to do what you want to do. At this point it doesn't seem like you want to hear people's opinions, you'd rather just argue. The Sex part of the whole approach is such a small part that you seem to focus on. Sure, go fuck a hooker. Then come back to us and say how unfulfilling it was. Your last point makes it seem like y…

...claim about diseases? Only the worst case scenario, like I said. ...get caught if its not illegal... I'm assuming from some of your other posts that English isn't your first language. I didn't mean get caught as in arrested by the police. I meant that you are only doing a disservice to yourself and not actually fostering the skills needed to start new relationships and fuck hot girls irl. But that's an honest mistake with my wording. Personally, I don't think paying for sex is an investment a…

...$2500 for a PUA bootcamp ... 25 escorts. One is an investment in bettering yourself (and obtaining what you want without paying for it) while the other is paying for it. I don't knock anyone for doing what they want to do, but experience with hookers is not equal to experience with real women. At best you get caught paying for sex the rest of your life. At worst you get a disease.

two major weaknesses But you wrote about 3 weaknesses? Regardless, practice makes perfect. The more random approaches you do the easier it will be. I know that doesn't seem like the best advice now but one day you'll look back and laugh at how much trouble you had.

Depends on the date (first date versus like a third date) and what you're looking for. Honestly, I think it's better to steer clear entirely unless she brings it up. For example, finding out this girl cheated on her last long-term partner when you only want a FWB doesn't seem very important. Focus on the here and now, not on the past. Save past "relationship" talk for the bedroom when talking about what you both like/dislike.

So I ran into a girl that I met a couple months ago and debating if I should talk to her or not. Talk to her. Just because you say Hi to someone doesn't mean you're going to bang, or that you can't go see the other girl.

Along what lines? Stuff for you to enjoy, or stuff to impress girls you bring home? Art, books, comfortable seats (ideally big enough for 2 people to be right next to each other). Aside from that, you should get things that reflect/are a part of your hobbies. Don't necessarily furnish your apartment with just girls in mind, it should be a reflection of who you are. However, with that said just keep it clean. Personally I think less is more, so don't fill your place with random shit thinking it w…

"...already mentioned to her how she should come over." So, invite her over? Have you already planned the date? Invite her over and cook dinner. Have her help you. Get a bottle of wine. Favorite date idea. You mention you're a dry guy, not very funny etc. What do you like to do? Do you still feel that way about yourself when you're doing the things you like? Invite her along to do one of your hobbies! Put yourself in a situation where you already feel like having fun or you're more relaxed. Abov…

You say the things you do for fun aren't the most social, but I disagree. Have you tried talking to people at them? Not just girls, but other guys to try and build up that social circle. A museum or gallery opening sounds like the perfect place to swap opinions on a piece or an exhibit. Even better if you start with trying to get somebody else's opinion, I'm sure most people are dying to share. Same with film screenings - I'm not saying to pick up smoking but I guarantee there's a group smoking …

Literally no difference. Don't do anything differently than you would normally do. Never met a girl who said she would "only date guys in a fraternity." Regarding being older - it depends on how much older. Full head of grey hair in an intro class might be a bit of a stretch but honestly, I've always found it doesn't matter. I'm 23, still in University and not in a fraternity, and regularly interact with girls who are 18-19 in Sororities without changing anything.

Agreed. Not awkward at all. If she agreed to go on the date she's interested at least a little bit. Hugs are natural.

I'm assuming your major is some sort of engineering, probably either Chemical or Computer. It all depends on your reaction to what she says. Just show her that you are fun and full of energy. Being smart should never be a turn-off. You can beat the stereotypes if you try. Learn how to laugh it off/redirect it and practice.

Agreed . OP, the longer you talk over text/on Tinder, the less you have to talk about in person. It's something I struggle with too, but what has helped me has been trying to be present and mindful of whatever I'm currently doing. That means that when I'm studying it's all I'm doing, but when I'm on a date that's all that I'm doing. Texting back and forth takes me away from the moment and shoots me in the foot for when I'm actually on the date because we already used up so much of our conversati…

Agreed, definitely seemed to come out of nowhere. Make sure to tune in better socially. Maybe your "level of attraction" will work as a better in for some girls who are super forward and take the first step, but I really wouldn't count on it.

Stealing this, it's an awesome idea. Thanks man.

That definitely makes it more difficult. Having friends who are brothers ensures that any upstart pledge gets extra shit on at line-ups. The comment above about squashing the beef is probably the best though. Or you could try and just step right through him and laugh him off, continuing into the house with your friends. As long as your friends are in it, it seems like you have an in. Obviously, I don't know the whole situation so this might not be realistic.

Maybe it works differently where I go to school, but if your friends are IN the fraternity and he's still a PLEDGE then sounds like you already have the upper hand? Unless your friends are also pledges. Were the guys you were with in the fraternity?

I have the same issue. I credit it to having too much of a "teddy-bear face" when my beard is longer than stubble. My round face, in general, doesn't do me any favors either which sucks because growing a beard helps out a ton with my relatively weak chin. I definitely have more pleasant interactions in general with a longer beard, but I have way more success when I keep it at stubble.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
