2	Noticed This in a Restroom I've often heard this attributed to underdiagnosis not due to a lack of access to gastroenterologists or others who may perform colonoscopies, but due to failure of patients to seek these screenings and to follow up as recommended (in US healthcare, as a member of the research community). It's thought to stem in part from the "macho man" persona where men don't "complain" (seek help).
