I'm not trying to invalidate anyone's feelings. Nor am I saying "get over it." Just saying that anger and hate are not a viable long term strategy for a fulfilling life. Anger can, and in my case, has saved me from the void, as it were. But now I'm at a point where hanging on to it is counterproductive to the future I want for myself.

Exactly. It's OK to feel angry. But sooner or later you have to let go. It's not about being a wimp or forgetting what was done to you. Never forget that. Just don't let yourself be consumed by it, to the point that all that you are I'd hatred and bitterness. That's no way to live. Accept what happened to you, learn from it so you're not in that position again, and live your best life.

You are correct. When I talk about measuring up, I meant in an introspective sense. As in: what don't you like about yourself? It's something I struggled with a long time. Recognizing your own shortcomings and working to minimize or eliminate them can be a most rewarding experience.

This is something I am currently going through. I thought my constant anxiety was due to living with people I didn't like. But 5 months living alone have taught me that is indeed not the case. Sometimes I look in the mirror and hate the reflection. I've been making some progress but I may need some therapy. That part about being able to forgive myself. I really judge myself a lot more harshly than any outside person ever has.

Why is it your business how a woman dresses? Why should you care? Get out of here with your incel crap. Just do your thing and live your life. Who cares what some random thots in Walmart are dressed like?

Yes. Especially at first. The way I minimize cleaning time is to do my best to keep everything orderly. For example if I'm making breakfast or whatever, I clean utensils as I'm cooking and after eating I do the dishes right there and then. Another thing you can do is to wash your clothes on your last day of work, let's say Friday. Throw a load before work and throw it in the dryer when you come home. That way on Saturday you only have to fold clothes and not wash plus dry. Of course I assume you…

It can be at first. But when you find your rhythm it gets super easy. It's almost therapeutical.

Never said you need to learn the hard way, LOL. Any questions just ask.

You need to live alone in order to grow as a man. Being self sufficient is a key aspect of a grown man. If you don't know how to cook, clean, and do laundry, I suggest you learn.

The main problem with the incel community is that they are usually not willing to look inward in order to better themselves. Every problem in their lives is due to an external factor and not because of an internal shortcoming. Although I am an incel, I do not participate in their community because I realize that many of the issues I have are self inflicted, regardless of female nature. Instead, I follow the mgtow community because this community promotes self betterment in order to live your bes…

Just don't do online dating. Only the top 10-20% of guys get consistent matches. And even then, many women use OLD for validation and not for dating. So don't feed the beast.

I don't stream music. When you have so many choices available, the choice itself loses value. I'd rather browse until something peaks my interest, and then download it locally. Pay once and done. No ads ever. Till the day I die it's mine.

Getting ready to roll and make some dough. While the USA sleeps I earn my bread. No rest for the wicked.

I am learning guitar. Sound like a dying hyena currently. Struggling a lot with maintaining an exercise regime. I find it very unpleasant but it is a necessity in order to live my best life. So I keep at it. Gaming is a passion for me, and recently I decided to stop being ashamed of it. It is an aspect I always downplayed in order to "fit it with the cool crowd." Screw that. I won't do it anymore. I want to really start collecting now. Get all the Playstation consoles and then Microsoft's catalo…

You need a positive outlet for your anger. Something with a lot of physical activity.

When the game is rigged, the best response is not to play. We'll most likely be dead or close to it when the Huns come to burn down Rome. So why worry about it? Edit: typo

Personally I view MGTOW as living your life free of societal expectations. There are many burdens placed upon men in this society, and often men are pressured to fulfill these expectations. But you don't have to do any of them. You don't have to get married and have 2.5 kids. And you are most definetly not a loser if you don't achieve this. Just follow your path, and let nothing stand in your way.

I know the feeling. Part of you feels like a monster for "abandoning" your mom. But it has to be done. It just has to. This is something that thankfully my mom understood. And so when I finally decided I was done being a boy and wanted to move out and become a man, she supported me. And dude, I learned most everything the hard way. I still love her to death but I'm no longer dependent on her. And sometimes she tries to baby me and I stop her. But our relationship is better for it. And now I'm in…

On thing that works for me. I assume you live in the USA and you have Walmart. What I did was print pictures I took while working as a truck driver in a faux canvas material. I have 3 at the moment. Put them on the wall with some double sided tape. Makes not only for a pretty decor but also a conversation piece about your travels. Just make sure you print landscapes and not people. For people it's better to print and frame normally.

Same thing happened to me in college. Went with Biology. Couldn't focus on my studies. Eventually failed and got kicked out. What is happening to you is that you actually hate what you are studying. So my advise: quit that shit. And study what YOU want. Screw what your parents think. It is your life, not theirs. What's the worst that could happen? You have to pay for it? So what? Do it anyway and be happy now instead of waiting till you're 28 to start what you actually want.

It is very strange seeing someone get mad when someone else is happy. I've never understood it.

Exactly. Like being in a state of contentment is almost alien to them. So they manufacture drama just because that is how they grew up so they think it is normal. But to a real normal person this behavior is agonizing.

Yes! Those people who only talk about how much money they make. And how awesome they are. And how all their coworkers are trash. And their boss is trash. And how people with tattoos are only good for bringing out your food. Ugh.

I understand. And yes, my natural instinct is to help others. But I am tired of doing so at the expense of my own well being. I'll give you a stupid example but one that has affected me more than i knew until recently. I used to love watching crappy movies (velocipastor is a favorite of mine). But the people I was with were always very critical of them. To the point I stopped watching them, just to spare myself the vitriol. There was always a negative comment about everything I liked. Be it musi…

That is the hardest part. I have been dependent on others for validation for most of my life and find it difficult to break free from that conditioning. I find that I start getting more and more depressed the more I distance myself from external validation. And so I must find a way to either reprogram my brain or ride it out like an addict quitting cold turkey. Wish me luck.
