oh thanks :) yeah the statute of limitations pass at about 9 years so criminal charges couldn't be filled even if the persecutors wanted to. the details of the news story are interesting, apparently he was a shitty father and person before but is a much better man when he returned /tangent

Well I'm not putting herself in my shoes, I'm trying to think of every scenario not just ones that are convenient in getting perceived justice /shrug just my opinion, which might be skewed since the article is a total of 6 sentences long...

i meant the crime was committed by an 11 year old. i'm pretty sure if you leave me in a room with an 11 year old girl i could make her say most anything. accepting your own mistakes as an adult isn't an easy thing to do when you've been ingrained into believing this lie (or letting yourself believe the lie?). i'm not an expert but i'm pretty sure there have a lot of cases where people allow themselves to think what they're doing is alright even though if they faced the facts they would know it's…

two things (which totally conflict but whatever) 1) isn't statute of limitation on most criminal offenses 9 years? 2) i don't see how pressing charges against something an 11 year old did will help anything.
