Thanks you! Hopefully my relationship with her will end up like that. I really feel like she's only staying with him because of how much time she's invested. I'll try asking her about it next time I hang out with her. I'm really bad at difficult conversations, so how would I ask her "why are you still with your boyfriend" without it sounding like I have ulterior motives or rude?

Damn, I think I can do damage control though. Sleeping with other girls and being more distant from her might mitigate my problems? I don't know. I guess I'll figure out over time :(

Aw :( it's really hard to not allow my emotions to take control of me here but you probably are right. I'll definitely keep more distant with her and try to find a new house if it's possible at this point. Thank you for your advice!!!

Thanks for the response! Is there a possibility for another option? She could break up with her boyfriend in the next couple months then eventually take things further with me? Or couldn't I also just move on from her? I saw a Russell Brand video where he said to just avoid her/thinking about her for a month and I should get over her. Can't that happen? Also we've already signed the contract to live with each other (it's university housing) and all my friends live in the house :(
