When I listened to "The Power of Now" I suspected why it was that the wise Guru that lived in the moment and wanted nothing was conveniently found by people who became his students and forced to write a book and accidentally earn millions. The dude is full of shit. I realized this when actually learning meditation and hearing that stopping thoughts (like Ekhart suggests to do) is an unproductive waste of time.
