I used to have this problem. I fixed it by only looking at my messages twice a day. One in the morning, one at night. That way, you're not constantly checking your phone to see if you got a message from her. Also, dating multiple people helps, because if it doesn't work out with one girl, you always have other options.

I agree with you on everything there. One thing that stood out to me was texting her to let her know you're calling her in 5 minutes, as it's less intrusive and gives her time to prepare. Thanks for sharing, I learned something new today :)

That's a good strategy. But, she won't pick up the phone unless she knows it's you (otherwise, she thinks it's a telemarketer). So, it might be good to send her an initial text saying it's you. Then, you can call sometime after, correct?

What do you do when they don't pick up?

“Let’s meet up/go out for drinks, how does Thursday or Friday work for you?” I like this. One thing I suggest is to gauge if she wants to meet up with you in general. So, I'd modify it to "Let’s meet up/go out for drinks sometime." If she agrees, then I suggest specifying days: "Alright, does Thursday or Friday work better for you?" I have tried to be specific the first time I asked the girl out, but said she was busy. I wasn't sure if she was genuinely busy or if she just doesn't want to see me…

Text her every 5 hours. The less frequent your texts are, the more quality they will have, so it will be harder to lose attraction through text. Plus, this way, you only have to come up with witty/flirty texts every 5 hours, as opposed to every 5 minutes. If you text too frequently, you will run out of things to talk about, not only through text, but also when you meet up in person.

Any one works, but if it's all 3, then that's a really strong indication (not 100%) she likes you.

"I never understand why it's so difficult or too much to say; 'Hey, I had a great time, but I don't think we match. Wish you all the best!' " Some people are too scared to say it or are inconsiderate of just how bad ghosting is. Others ghost because they're seeing someone new, and if it doesn't work out with that new person, they can always go back to the person they ghosted, because they never officially ended it with them. I agree that one should use positive choice of words when breaking up.

I wouldn't recommend dating people you work with. If you still plan to do it anyways, ask him out for coffee. You could be playing these seduction games all day, but it won't matter if one of you don't make a move.

Have you talked to her before? If so, ask her out for lunch in person. If you can't do it in person, text her.

Not the guy you replied to. If you've already sent her a message to hang out, then the ball is in her court, so don't ask her again, it makes you look needy. If she was truly interested in you, she would want to see you and reply back to set up a date. I would wait 1 week, and if you don't hear from her, send her a text asking to meet up. At this point, it's unlikely she is still interested, so I'd move on.

If a girl is doing one of the following: Asking you questions back Giving long answers to the questions you ask Not going back to reading her phone/book Then that's a strong indication (About 50% in my experience) that she is interested in you. If she's not doing these things, it doesn't necessarily mean she isn't interested. Either way, don't rely on signals. ask her out on a date (not to 'hang out') to know for sure.

You already asked her to meet up, she said she couldn't, so the ball is in her court now. Only reason she won't ask you out back is because she isn't interested in you.

Don't initiate texts or plans with her anymore, if she is truly interested, she will let you know when she wants to hang out. Keep your text responses short.

"I'm busy" and "I'll let you know" are common excuses for saying "I'm not interested" I would stop initiating texts with her and seek other girls.

Even if the signs aren't there, she may still be interested. Only way to know for sure is by asking her out for coffee at the end of the study session, (don't text this, do it in person).

When you and her talked in person at the concert, she felt good talking to you, and that memory is still fresh in her head. This is a metaphor for 'The iron is hot'. If you wait too long, that connection and memory she had with you won't be as strong, making her less likely to say yes for a date, so the 'iron' becomes cold. You could also Google this term if you're curious.

Texting should only be used to set up a time to meet up. The more you text, the less things you'll be able to talk about when you actually meet up. Running out of things to talk about during a date is boring and a bad way to maintain chemistry. Also, by not texting as much, you give them more time to miss you, so when you finally meet up, the chemistry will be stronger. If they text you with open ended questions, try to keep it short ("How was your day?" "Great! You?"). You'll think they might l…

Ask her about her hobbies, does she work out, where does she work, why does she like working there. That should be enough. But don't ask her to hang out again, the ball is in her court.

You should not initiate texts with her anymore. You've put in effort, now it's time for her to put some effort too. If she is interested, she'll text to reschedule. If she doesn't text back after a week, move on.

Next time you see her, before class, sit 1 chair away from and say "Excuse me, do you understand how [concept] works? Can you explain it to me?".

Don't message him anymore. Talk to him in person, ask him to give you advice on working out, for example, ask him is your form good, ask him what other exercises you can do to target X muscle group, ask him advice for losing fat or getting stronger. Make sure to ask him out for lunch or coffee at the end of the conversation.

Don't shoot all your shots. Make sure she is doing at least one of the following when you have a conversation with her: a) Asking you questions back b) Giving long answers to the questions you ask c) Not going back to reading her phone/book If she does one of these things, there is a high chance she'll say yes to a date. Also, make sure it's just the two of you, so no one else hears you asking her out.

If a girl is truly interested in you, she'll stay interested even if you don't text her for a month, you shouldn't have to 'win her back'. If she loses interest, then it's likely that she was not interested in the first place. By not initiating texts in that period, you give her time to miss you, wonder what you're up to and remain mysterious. Let me give you more proof. While she was away and you two didn't text, did you miss her? Were you still interested in her? If she was initially intereste…

Could you explain it to me?". Social circle: Ask a mutual friend to invite some friends to hang out, including you and her. During the hang out, go up to her and say "Hey, I don't think we've met, I'm IdesOfMarch" Investing Class: After she explains [concept], introduce yourself "By the way, my n…

Do not cross your arms or put your entire hand in your pocket, that conveys low confidence. You should either: Keep your hands by your side, like this: https://www.gettyimages.ca/detail/photo/portrait-of-businessman-smiling-while-standing-royalty-free-image/998456956?adppopup=true The thing I like about this is you can stick out your chest, widen your shoulders, and appear taller Put your thumbs in your pocket, but keep your other fingers outside If there is a table/chair, you can rest one hand …

Campus is the best place to approach girls. I prefer indirect approaches, so next time you see a girl on campus, go up to her and say "Do you know any courses I can take to boost my GPA/grades?". After she answers your question, you can introduce yourself and say "By the way my name is JewelThroughCoal". If you need more details on how to proceed from here, let me know.

Here's what happened: She liked you initially, but when you two started texting more, she got to know you better, so you became less of a mystery to her, and mysterious guys are more attractive to girls. Also, if you're replying to her very fast, then that shows to her that you're too available, which tells her that you don't have much going on in your life, lowering her attraction towards you. From now on, do not initiate any texts with her, and keep responses short, for example, Her: How's you…

Don't wait, or else she'll keep chasing. Text her saying "Hey, I'm not feeling the chemistry between us, I'd rather stay friends, sorry." If she doesn't respect that, you can ghost her.

She is no longer interested, so you should move on to other girls. Don't send dick pics when asked, show it to her in person.
