1	TIL that despite blood test proving he wasn't teh father Charlie Chaplin had to pay child support for a baby that was not his. This lead to laws being changed allowing blood test as evidence in court. It's also the only remaining example of a "debtors prison", in that, if you fall behind far enough, you can be imprisoned and stay there indefinitely, as you will never catch up on your child support while in prison. (obviously) Sadly, the courts actually have not changed their stance. It's "what's best for the child", and if you aren't the father that doesn't matter.	/r/MensRights	16/07/11 08:37 AM
