I cracked up in public. Definitely hilarious.

Offer to repay it once the divorce goes through out of your share of the division of marital property. That way it’s available to help you but also not like you’re getting more than you would in the divorce.

Learning about dread? Hold on. You can't have lurked for 5 minutes without learning dread. Dread is fundamental here. People are taking you at your word about having lurked, but dread is where you need to go first and foremost.

They need to have their own lawyer. You can provide her the cash for it, but it needs to be her attorney. Not the same one who is working for you and drafting the prenup.

To back you up, from a legal prospective, this man has zero obligations to this child. It was on the mother to petition the court for child support. She didn't. End of discussion. No obligations are owed by this man.

the commenter was not endorsing marital rape. He was bemoaning the passage of such laws. Marital rape laws are just another tool to escape wifely duty and defraud divorce courts into siding with the woman against her "rapist." And I use the terms to refer to the rape allegations that come up in so many divorce proceedings when there's a tactical advantage to be gained by the allegations. I've never seen a criminal prosecution for marital rape... But in family law, the accusations are rampant.

Newer lawyer checking in. Law school is for suckers these days. Nurses, anesthesia especially, echo techs, and doctors are worth the investment. Law - not so much. 2 new lawyers for each vacancy that opens up. National stats.

OP, this, plus with law school she's about to be unemployed pretty hard. You could stick it out in case she's lucky but law school isn't a meal ticket. It's a debt machine.

I think you're missing the point of dread 4. Disengage the hamster. Get away and do something productive. Get a new hobby if needs be. There's nothing about hotel rooms. That's just not a good idea at all. A consult with your divorce attorney, even to educate yourself is advised.

The only reason to leave is life or safety. If you can safely remain in the home, do so. You should be quietly consulting a divorce attorney. Even if just for educational purposes on how to protect yourself, that's recommended. In the mean time, your post covers none of the basics. Are you in the gym? Are you improving yourself? Where's the dread game? And if you had a big argument, it sounds like you weren't maintaining frame and lost control of your emotions. Stoicism is your friend. Amused ma…

After you have a few kids, they stop asking. The doc didn't ask me if I had my wife's consent. If they do ask, just answer, "my body my choice" lol.

I think that's mentally ill of her honestly. I was adamantly against my last kid but did actually acquiesce eventually. I got a vasectomy soon after to cure my weakness. I suggest the same for you, quietly. I'm not old enough here to comment from a TRP frame, but from hanging around a while, I'd re-evaluate everything and lay your life out for people to evaluate beyond this one incident. Otherwise you're not going to get much input.

It may help if you can explain the viable alternative ways to describe bitchy or bitch behavior without using the term. I get your point, but....solutions are not being offered.

She needs to get a job. See what /r/financialindependence thinks of your plan. Having her continue to stay at home is seriously foolish.

You just failed that guy's shit test too. Life's a shit test. You're going to screw up man. It's ok. Just work on getting better. How could you have agreed and amplified better? And you know she wants muscles and shoulders, but you've got a bad shoulder. Fine. Do cardio. Get fit anyhow. Get a better diet. Try something. Most of our issues as men in a relationship is that we stop trying. And if you try, she'll try. You agree and amplify and you take her to bed right then. If she asks you HOW you …

You need to have the blood test and maybe an exam for prostate issues. If you've not previously established a baseline for the blood test, I'd recommend a physical exam. Another question is what is your pornography and masturbation habits like. If you're a chronic masturbator, you're gonna have a bad time

I think there's a legal argument that this mom was having sex with her daughter but using her boyfriend's penis. And since moms aren't allowed to have sex with their kids, the sex would be rape. So she'd be an accomplice and have accomplice liability. Maybe.

Is "acts of Service" her love language?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
