It's funny that you mentioned that. It reminded me of a coworker that was stopped a couple years ago when a local force got their body cams. The cop specifically told him he would prefer to just send him on his way but due to the stored images on the body camera, had to write him a ticket. I recognize the need to avoid the appearance of profiling but there are times when an officers better judgement should be put into effect.

I don't think that guy ever did read your original comment to understanding. He just wanted to argue. Which kinda covers exactly why cops don't want to wear body cams. They don't understand completely how they'll be used and assume the worst. I understand their fear and wonder how that can be put at ease.

What I simply don't understand is the guy jumping in on her defense... The whole situation seemed pretty clear to me. It's a closed train so it's not like someone came across the guy beating up this bitch. He had to have seen it from the beginning. If you've seen that from the beginning and make the decision to defend her, you're an idiot.

Amazing... his lawsuit will discourage legit claims?? I agree with you. It's bullshit! What was he to do after having his career cut short due to her false accusations?
