Absolutely agreed. I asked out two girls my first year of college who were both surprised and declined. I wind up hooking up with both and dating one the next year. I think generally, making your intentions clear is always a good way to go. And in the case with these girls, who were both part of the same general circle of friends, the fact that I didn't let their rejections bother me went a long way. No one felt uncomfortable.

Honestly I'm not crazy about that opener. Approaching a lot is great, but maybe start with something a bit lighter than straight up asking them out. Build up your confidence with little victories. Score a date, then make out, then feel her up, then ask about going all the way. There's no rush. I was a virgin til I was 21. It will happen for you

I hated the wrist touching thing too. If I'm complimenting a girls bracelet or watch, wouldn't I touch her hand (not wrist) and hold it a little closer to me? Also, how am I supposed to keep eye contact while looking at her wrist?

One girl at a time is the way to go. If it's just the three of you at your house, it falls on you to entertain both of them, it will be awkward as hell. Also, how would you flirt with both at the same time? It'd be weird

Triple A baby, it's a great philosophy. I went to a movie once with this girl, and kissed her when I dropped her off, but she really didn't seem that into it. I asked my brother "do you think it was even a date? were we just hanging out?" He looked at me like I was an idiot (cause I was), and was like "dude, you asked her to the movies and she said yes! of course it was a fucking date." Haven't looked back since.

If you have an easy time talking to girls then all you have to do is flirt and make it clear that you are interested before going for the kiss. I always make an attempt to get a girl on her own (if we're in a social setting) before, "hey do you wanna come check out ____ with me?" Or even "hey do you wanna go some place quiet to talk?" If she says yes she's interested. Just make eye contact during a pause in conversation and go for it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
