Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question and uplift me in the process. I'm taking my first baby steps to become someone who doesn't need to be validated by men and more specifically, doesn't commit herself to try to "love someone into loving her". It's been rough, but I hope I'll get to your level one day!

A question: I’ve heard this a ton and I know it shouldn’t but it low key makes me feel bad. Like my ex dumped me and went on and on about how I deserve better but I guess I feel hurt because he didn’t want to stay with me when most men would (especially if they thought the women deserved better)? I’m getting some therapy for these thoughts but ya any perspective?

Y’all this exchange is beautiful. I love women and how we are able to learn, expand, listen to the stories of others and grow. Ugh ❤️

Yes they have been. I’m getting sort of inexperienced shy vibes from him vs LVM but you’re right we’ll see how things go. I found it nice he took her home but we’ll see. I definitely want to be pursued though so I’m not asking anyone out

I have a question? Are walk dates always a no? I ask because a friend of mine met her current partner on Hinge at the beginning of quarantine so there wasn’t much to do but they walked two days back to back around the city of hours talking and from what I’ve seen so far he is a good guy. He’s in med school, took her home to see his parents this past Christmas, and overall actually seems pretty solid. I’m wondering because I don’t think he’s LV but she was the one who asked him out. Aka two no no…

It’s shocking truly! If I didn’t have this sub I wouldn’t have even noticed just how bad it was.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
