I really never noticed that men were always portrayed as the stupid, loser and clumsy in ads until a teacher made a remark on it when I was about 10 years old. Now I see it everywhere. Also of note that when selling a product based on reason/logic even when targeting a mostly female audience the voice over will almost always be male.

I think this(the #metoo version) will lead to a lot of allegations and destroy the reputation of many men. A lot of them will actually be guilty but without proof will go free except for the reputation damage. Others are actually blameless but will suffer from that stain on their reputation forever. I am not touching this at all; definitely not trying to piggy back on a movement that implicitly bypasses the rule of law by staining reputations on social media. Already some politicians around here…
