Hi! I may get downvoted for this because I assume it’s not very popular amongst other women. I can totally relate to this, as I’m kind of in an open relationship? Are you bisexual? Is he open to you also being a part of it? I’m curious what the parameters are. Are the women he’d be with someone he’d be romantic with or is it just sex? Are you a jealous person? Are you open minded? I will tell you about me. When I first met my partner he also was everything I ever wanted! However he expressed he …

I’d never want to be polygynous. I may get downvoted for this… However, I am totally ok with having fun nights with my partner and other women of my choosing who are respectful to me and my relationship. I have a lot of good friends who are in the lifestyle. My partner has always made sure to make me feel comfortable and I’m in control of it. Most of these women become our good friends and we can hang platonically. We’d never cross the line and have another romantic relationship with a woman. Ob…

For me personally femininity means the way I carry myself. I am soft, friendly, kind, etc. I put a lot of effort into how I look. I have daily routines to make sure my skin is good, my hair is healthy, etc. I always do my makeup nice when I go out. I try to always look presentable. I went through a tomboy phase as well. I also wasn’t really super feminine until I met my now partner. He brought out that side in me. I bring warmth and softness to our relationship. I make sure my partner feels take…

I haven’t read that, but I will definitely add it to my list, it’s so true!

This is so true! I realized this is helpful with my partner as well.

My post is from my perspective. The relationship is not one sided, I was only sharing what I was doing. There is a lot of things my partner is doing on his side to make me feel loved and respected. I don’t think it was necessary to share that considering what this sub is. I assume you are not red pill.

People are so quick to name things as abuse, I feel like people don’t know what abuse really is.

Oh I see, I can understand why you’d think that. I’m sorry you went through that too btw. I guess I should include backstory. The praising thing in public comes from my friends not liking our traditional type of relationship. I am very submissive and he is dominant, and we both want to be that way. He’s not dominant in a controlling way, but in a traditional way if that makes sense. He’s the leader. A lot of them are ultra feminists, talk to their man like shit, or wear the pants in their relati…

It really does! It’s definitely a struggle at first not to take it personally but just pausing and letting the initial defensiveness pass really does help

Yes. Exactly. I wouldn’t say his love language to give is words of affirmation or anything so I don’t really hear how he feels about me. But he can be soft sometimes. Not very often though.

Exactly this. All I have ever asked him was to meet me half way. But he doesn’t. So I’m hoping a therapist will help with this. It really sucks!

Thank you for this answer. It is strange because he IS a very emotional person, I’d consider him a lover boy. But it’s when it comes to the conflict he is just very logical, and clinical. He is a doctor if that helps. It’s like he has two sides because he is very loving and caring and does listen to my feelings when I’m having a hard time and shows up for me. But the second I do something and he gets upset it’s like he goes into a whole different mode.

This is mainly what my partner and I fight about. He is logical and I am emotional.

This is great advice. Another thing I’m doing is asking clarifying questions before I jump to defensiveness. This gives him the benefit of the doubt and lets him explain what he means further and opens a conversation if we absolutely need to talk about whatever it is.

We go out in public yes, and he’s met my friends and come as my +1 to many events. I haven’t met his friends yet, but he has told me that he won’t introduce someone to his friends unless they’re his girlfriend because he wants the next person he introduces to be his wife. He doesn’t want his friends to lose respect for him or his future wife by bringing a lot of girls around. Him and I had a heart to heart and he said I’m an amazing person who he thinks would make an amazing wife but he’s not su…

His behavior says he wants to be with me, but him being on hinge still and updating his profile makes me think otherwise. That is my hang up. Without that I would be perfectly content with the pace we’re going. I think he just very intentional on who he dates long term. And it takes time to get to truly know someone. He doesn’t rush into anything he does.

Also, regarding withholding sex from him. I don’t see withholding sex to be helpful - he would just go get that need met somewhere else. He has other options and he’s even told me women are a dime a dozen. I live in Los Angeles where beautiful women are a plenty. He is dating to marry someone one day, so I understand not wanting to commit to someone until he knows who they are. I understand that takes months to truly know someone. I feel the same way, why would I want to commit to someone I don’…

This has been my thinking and exactly why I have been giving it my all. He is definitely a man that many women want. He wouldn’t put up with average, because he has options. I don’t feel bad for giving it my all for this reason. I know I am also above average and have a lot to offer so I don’t feel sorry for myself - he wouldn’t date me if I didn’t anyway. I also think if you really like someone then why not give it your all. I will leave this situation with no regrets of wishing I tried harder.…

Mostly that I don’t follow his lead. Or I do subtle things that make it seem like I’m trying to control the situations. Or that I don’t edify him. Sometimes I just say or do things without thinking about how he would feel. I agree I need to take a step back.

He is navigating it cautiously, for sure. He has spoken many times with being ok being single - and if anyone were to come into his life they should be adding to it and bringing him peace. Hes a doctor so he’s very busy, so I believe him when he says this. He doesn’t have time to waste on people who don’t align with him. Another thing he’s mentioned is that he doesn’t want to introduce anyone to his friends until he knows someone is wife material because he doesn’t want his friends to lose respe…

I have been dying to get a male perspective on this so I really appreciate you commenting here. Truthfully, I’ve been crying all day about this. I asked him if he knows what red pill is and he doesn’t know, however he is a traditional Christian man. I understand he wants a red pill woman without him even knowing what it is because he has described the kind of woman he wants. Is it bad that I’m doing too much for him already? I am a giver, I can’t help but to give so it’s hard for me to withhold …

I agree, and thanks for giving me a gut check bout the sabotage. I tend to self sabotage and I need someone to keep me honest about that. Thank you for making me feel better about waiting 2 months. I also think I really have the opportunity to turn things around for us since I found this sub and read that book. Idk if pulling back will be sabotage though. So maybe I should just bring up my worries to him, but not pull back?

He said 6 months to be official bf/gf, he never mentioned a time frame on exclusivity. Sorry if I wasn’t clear there. I totally agree I shouldn’t have laid all my cards out, I wish I found this sub before I met him. Do you think it’s possible to pull back at this point? Can I have an open/honest conversation about that with him? Or is that not a good idea? I haven’t left because I am ok with this 6 month rule and I want a slow burn. Both of us are acting as bf/gf already, so he has all his cards…

Thank you again for the very logical comment. I’m really not feeling dating other people, and you’re right it would be retaliatory or to feel like I have other options to fall back onto. Which, neither I think are healthy. I’ve already gone too far and given my all, offering everything I have as a woman. Do you think I should pull back? Should I be open to him about this?
/r/RedPillWomen01/04/25 11:35 PM

Also, I know I set myself up for failure by giving him everything a committed partner has to offer before receiving commitment. How do I pull back? Is that even possible? Should I have a conversation with him about this?

He doesn’t demand I do anything for him. I’m just a natural giver and I enjoy doing that for the people I care about. The lack of respect thing comes from a few instances, like me not trusting him and following his lead. Basically me trying to be in control. I feel like I should just wait for the 6 months to bring it up but I’m scared I will be wasting my time. If we aren’t exclusive should I be seeing other people?

Thank you so much for this logical response. He has been very open and honest with me. Honestly it just this hinge thing that is getting the best of me and making me respond emotionally. I spent all day crying today, I just feel myself falling in love and I don’t want to be hurt. Do you think I should get on hinge too and start talking to people? Should I go on dates? Or is this self sabotaging the relationship especially if he isn’t actively going on dates with people.
