Lots of them are whores. Lots of them are also gold diggers. Some of them have issues, and get off on fucking rich older men. They aren't all your typical back page girls, is what I am trying to say. I've been with a bunch of those as well. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

You would be surprised. Some guys are willing to spend huge amounts just because they enjoy the feeling it gives them. A lot of girls are there because they want to find and marry a rich guy. It lists your income and net worth. So they aren't so much whores as gold diggers. Other girls just don't want to go out with a guy who isn't rich, they are RP in the sense that they are trying to sell their stock when the value is high, and they understand that websites like that are the best way to make i…

You know, I don't think there is anything wrong with what this guy did, and I don't know him, but while reading it I did pick up a sociopathic flavor. There is something about his writing style that is off putting. People should do what works for them, but you don't always have to be some hard ass to get attention. Being "nice" is extremely effective as long as you aren't boring and have stuff going for you. Be goofy but cool, and make them feel like you get them. Then be wild in bed. Do you thi…

I've been with girls from those sugar daddy websites. I'm with one now. They aren't exactly hookers. Some are, of course, but many use it as okcupid but with rich guys who give them money and buy them things. One of the girls I was with was well off with a rich family, in grad school for engineering (all paid for by her family) and some serious daddy issues (first got into things as a babysitter at the age of 18, started sleeping with the dad of the kids she was babysitting). She was also very s…

I don't know. Probably the most beautiful woman I've ever met is a doctor, she is exceptionally warm, nice to a degree that almost makes me uncomfortable because I'm a little stiff and reserved, friendly, intelligent, the whole nine yards. She talks gushingly about her husband who is alright (and a surgeon), but nowhere near her level of physical perfection and the same height as her (she is 5'11). In my experience, beautiful women go through life with everyone being exceptionally nice to them, …

Agree on the plan. Have a plan, and a backup plan. Make sure the place is open, and somewhere you have been before and feel comfortable at. Better to go somewhere shitty you feel at ease in that somewhere cool where you feel uncomfortable. Even the ex thing has exceptions. If a girl has a kid I will ask a few questions to determine how involved the dad is, etc. Same thing goes for divorced women. It is easy to frame it in a way that makes them qualify themselves to you because they are already s…

I am not the person you are replying to, but I made a conscious decision not to read the article. Not just because it was a woman giving the advice, but because I have found that lists of things you shouldn't do only tend to lower my confidence and increase my anxiety. If something feels right you should do it, assuming you have a basic level of social decorum. And there is some evidence that negative instructions only increase the chance of screwing up. For example, waiters telling themselves "…

No, women go into marriage thinking about the wedding. That's it. Even if they think the husband is going to be shit and the rest of their life will be unhappy, they will still get married as long as they believe the wedding will be awesome. The attention a woman receives when she gets married is like a billion Facebook likes. It is like having ten submissions to Reddit hit the front page in one day. It is very nearly equivalent to being the rolling stones for a day. They can't resist it, and th…

The girl won't care. But she might be less likely to admit she lied made a false accusation if she knows she will be punished for it. The police etc should be punished for going after an innocent man without any proof. I feel this would be far more effective at reducing the number of men whose lives are ruined by false rape accusations. I understand the desire for justice, but if I was falsely accused I would much rather not have my life ruined than have the girl punished after I lose my job and…

The problem is, and I obviously don't want to be seen as a false rape sympathizer, is that if women are punished for false rape accusations it will make them much less likely to come forward and admit what they did, and they might try harder to cover up the evidence. There was a story about some girl who had sex with a boy at her school, claimed he raped her to get out of trouble with her parents, then when he got out she messaged him and he got her on tape admitting that she lied about being ra…

This puts the onus on women to make a first move. The 24 hour window means there is actually some pressure on her to initiate. I think it is an interesting social experiment, and could possibly decrease the flaking that is so common on dating sites. I think it is actually good for men because they won't be wasting so much time messaging girls who aren't interested. Rather than looking at it as "women always go first" (an obvious ploy to attract female users) it could say "Now women have to do so…

I had a friend who was about 2" shorter than me, but more muscular and confident sounding. Several girls thought he was taller than me. Which may have been bad posture on my part, but it was weird.

Not only that, but women estimated him to be, on average, three inches shorter than he actually is. Which is depressing, because you know they are rounding down in every other "attractiveness" feature as well.

You are absolutely right, I never thought about it like that. The people who sent this man to jail should be investigated and the county should be sued for lots of money. Somebody should face some consequences for this.

Makes me wonder how good those liberals actually are in bed. They think they are hot shit because they are "in tune with their sexuality" or whatever, but if they have a neckbeard and twiggy body even toys and lots of lube might not necessarily make up for their lack of prowess in other areas.

Don't forget the power of makeup, and to a lesser extent clothes and undergarments that enhance good features and hide bad ones. This one girl I work with usually wears no makeup and typically looks like a sickly boy, the other day for whatever reason she got dolled up a bit and all of a sudden she has rich toned skin, full pouty lips, and large bright eyes. Yeah, different sexes different moral failings. Let me leave this quote by Arthur Schopenhauer: women are inferior to men in matters of justice, honesty, and conscientiousness. Again, because their reasoning faculty is weak, things clearly visible and real, and belonging to the present, exercise a power over them which is rarely counteracted by abstract thoughts, fixed maxims, or firm resolutions, in general, by regard for the past and future or by consideration for what is absent and remote. Ac…

Although, I did not notice a bit of empathy in her rant, and it would not surprise me one bit if she would be happy to let a man entertain her and buy her drinks all night, then walk out and never talk to him again. Or to shoot some guy down publicly just for the ego boost it gives her. Women and men are different, you can't hold them to the same standards of morality and decency.

You didn't get it wrong. She was treated like a guy, and thought it was awful. Because often, it can be. I can't help but feel bad for her, though. Men and women are not the same, and it sucks that she is treated like a guy because she is such an uggo. But it would be nice if more people realized that most men have it pretty shitty.

I think this could backfire. So, consent is not something that can be verbalized or expressed, and is subject to time. Therefore, we need a better way to define when it is ok to have sex with someone and when it is forced rape. Since a man can never know when he has consent, he can only know when he is forcibly raping. That puts the onus on the girl to express to the guy that he is raping her, she has to vocally and physically indicate she does not want to have sex.

I think you have a good point, but you also kind of missed the point. I don't think people here have a problem with EW urging UN leaders to prevent violence against women in countries where they really are oppressed. I believe in equal opportunity, though I oppose the idea that everyone needs to be the same. The problem I have is that an American/western publication is urging its Western readers to raise feminist sons. Raising "feminist" sons in America means raising a neutered male. Feminism in…

It seems entirely possible that delaying puberty with medication that alters you natural hormonal expression would dramatically increase the chances that a person receiving such treatment would decide to pursue gender reassignment later in life. And not just because of the hormones influence on their brains, but the psychological effect of going through the process of medically induced puberty delay. This includes lagging behind peers in terms of normal maturation.

On the other hand, cosmetic science continues to make progress. So if a girl does not party too hard and has money to spend on her appearance, looking hot at later ages is definitely possible. It seems like girls who don't get married continue to look better looking every year until about 29 or 30, (in terms of clothes, hair, makeup), then a more rapid decline after marriage when they realize they no longer have to work so hard.

This is so sadly true. Lots of guys believe they have ED because they can't get it up once a year to have sex with their fat aging wife who already pushed out three kids. Now not to disparage these mothers, I'm sure they are lovely people, but a guy who doesn't have trouble getting it up for the same woman after 15+ years of banging is the exception, not the rule. I think the 5/10 chubbs with the even worse entitlement problems are a subset of the "hot" girls, though. See I put hot in quotation marks. I agree, those girls are the worst. Because they are approachable they are constantly fending off advances from low status men and it turns them into monsters. 20 messages?? You're waiting too long. 3 messages in: "text me at #." 3 texts later: "hey you wanna meet up at [insert bar here]." Not saying you won't have success playing the long game on Tinder, but your time is better spend elsewhere. I'm not judging, I just think being complained about to the staff is serious enough to warrant further investigation.
