Please don't make all women look mental.

Maybe find a game you can play with him rather than against him if you're afraid of losing your composure? My boyfriend and I play Civ 5 in a team together and Don't Starve Together and it's really fun. I think this sort of team work is really good for relationships so I wouldn't worry about getting too into it, it's a positive thing.

I totally agree with your first point. Why is he inviting his ex-fiancee to his birthday? It stinks and it begins with O.

I use BB cream (which is just light foundation with some ingredients that help your skin), powder, blush, mascara and lip balm. It takes me less than five minutes to do. I'll add on stuff like eye liner, lipstick and contour if I'm going somewhere special. I'd say it's important to make sure your skin routine is good to start off with, wearing moisturiser so you have a good canvas to work on. I find that using a small kabuki brush is best to apply powder with without flicking it everywhere.

I agree with this. He feels guilty about not giving you big presents because he knows he's still infatuated with the other girl.

I wouldn't send one to someone you're not in a exclusive committed relationship with. I think they have their place in a relationship, expressing yourself sexually is a good thing.

I do not want to be the leader. I refuse to be the leader. I want to live darkly and richly in my femaleness. I want a man lying over me, always over me. His will, his pleasure, his desire, his life, his work, his sexuality the touchstone, the command, my pivot. I don’t mind working, holding my ground intellectually, artistically; but as a woman, oh, God, as a woman I want to be dominated. I don’t mind being told to stand on my own feet, not to cling, be all that I am capable of doing, but I am …

Oh, I didn't mean it as opposing values. Just that on American blogs there seems to be a big emphasis on living frugally that I've noticed and find admirable.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear, I was asking about cultural influence on RPW and anything about that really.

I totally agree about English women not wanting a sensitive man, none of my friends have ever expressed an interest in it. On that note, there seems to be a desire for intelligence and book learning that American women don't seem to share.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
