The rift that gave rise to Accenture occurred in 1998, leading to a name change in 2001. Enron, however implemented the design of its accounting fraud. Jeffrey Skilling and Andy Fastow were engaging in massive accounting fraud at Enron, by late 2000. In June, 2002, Andersen was convicted of a felony in Federal Court, arising from its conduct at Enron. So, it appears the name change occurred after the criminal conduct occurred. 1	Asperger's Software Coder Gets Fired By Empowered STEM Grrls -- “caught him reading an MRA site” Accenture, whatever its policies, never will escape its anxious-to-be-concealed history of being Arthur Andersen Consulting, and helping Enron construct the up-until-then greatest fraud in Wall Street history.
