2	What real life event made you realize that the mens rights movement is important? I (as a young man) took a course called "Marriage and Family" during my undergraduate years that ended up being rampant misandry. My collegiate colleagues (the "leaders of tomorrow") were taught about how evil men are and how we're wrong in every dispute. Obviously I was taken aback and once I found MRA I knew my suspicions had been correct, and that the feminists are right about one thing: The genders are not equal.	/r/MensRights	23/08/12 05:00 PM
5	Lies, damned lies, and rape statistics this is especially powerful given the recently linked article that made it to the front page about the incidents of male rape in America. I'm glad to know that statistics like the "1 in 4" are grossly inaccurate (rape is bad!) but it saddens me how many of these lies there are. 7	Has anyone else seen this going around facebook? This sort of harmless comic strikes me as wholly insignificant, especially considering how many there are of similar poor taste about women. In all of this, we're working towards true gender equality, and need to recognize that sometimes allowances have to be made at risk of otherwise being hypocritical.
