Which is exactly why I don't mind engaging with them. To be clear, I don't like feminism as a movement. Masculinity is an ideology at its base, and like any ideology, it can be used to justify a lot of things, not all of them good. That doesn't make it inherently negative. I'm all for masculinity, it just depends on how you characterize it. Didn't say all feminists wanted equality. But, of course, that doesn't mean that giving young men positive traits to strive for is bad. Was somewhat arguing this point with a friend a while back - she dropped the "masculinity is toxic" bomb, and I wasn't sure what to say other than "what does that even mean?"
