I am not trying to imply anything. In fact, it looks like you're trying to make an argument where none exists. Inflatable Tomato is correct. Most here perceptive its mutilation, while societal norms dictate that is normal. Obviously most here do not believe in those societal norms. Piercing a girls ears when she's a child, for example, can be perceived as mutilation by some though obviously there is a difference.

I don't know why this person is being downvoted. The the voting system is supposed to promote or demote conversation, not agree/disagree. Is there any reason in particular you wanted you son circumcised?

I get that, but we've been together since senior year in high school so that makes it about five and a half years now. People do change, I agree, and if I asked her to do a partnership no marriage I'm sure she'd be fine with that. I just don't want a fear or analysis paralysis to become a self fulfilling prophecy over if she'll change for the worse or better.
