Pickme hell. Instead of screaming someone help me, my bf is traumatizing me, she's going all the way and pleading for his mental health. Give me a break

I made a post of another similar story yesterday but it was deleted. Another HVW with a husband that makes a lot of money but is also a careless spender. HVW are better off managing their own finances than trying to haggle with these losers https://www.morningstar.com/news/marketwatch/20210630244/my-husband-has-75k-on-his-credit-card-and-plans-to-spend-8k-on-sporting-events-what-can-i-do-am-i-on-the-hook-if-he-dies

Yup me too and we see a lot of those posts too and they are inspiring vs feeling sad and another person's trauma in relationships everyday makes it harder to not resent/be afraid of dating men My mother and sister taught me to be financially independent but still they thought a man is needed to live peacefully in a society. So sometimes even parents/families with good intentions can force you to be a pickme.

She's confusing assault with love so she definitely needs help. At the same time to other women who are in your teens or 20s, if you don't have a good degree with career options, or a job that you love, please make those your goals. You cannot fix others but you can fix yourself. The important part of leveling up is you doing the work on yourself. You are less likely to accept abuse when you've a life that you love even without a relationship.

She is barely out of her teens. I so wish women stop wasting their 20s on relationships. Graduating and getting a good job should be the only focus until you're at least 25. We need to stop posting relationship problems of 20 year olds and focus on more positive things for the younger gen to look up to

It's not your fault nor limits your worth, it's sometimes hard to accept but hope you're doing well now and there is community support to help ♥️

Parents who provide and are there to support the children without getting in their way or trying to micromanage, vicariously live through their kids etc are hard to find. Parenting is a tough job, we need to have worked on ourselves before we take on that role

She probably hoped donating a kidney will be her ultimate pickme but it doesn't work that way. I bet he wanted to leave before the kidney donation and he did after he got hers.

Found a book about firing your wife, the very first chapter used Depression as a reason to divorce, let alone cancer. If she has depression now, imagine how bad it can be when she hits, menopause, fire her, was the summary of first chapter

When I was dating and engaged to be married, I explained all the dealbreakers for me in a relationship and my XH termed that personality as "Bob". My BIL is the biggest Bob I know but it turned out my XH was also a Bob just hiding it better. He failed to admit he also has a Bob inside him Edit as an example: Not sacrifice my life for a Bob who sits and enjoys tv/video games after work while his wife does all the chores, manage the house and work outside the home to bring in money. This is what m…

Having good parents makes so much difference to women's life. Those few of us who were born into families with handout mindset, who think of you as community property out to work not as an individual.

The 17% who voted no should be found and reported for awareness. A full time opportunity for a therapist to treat that whole group of people

"IDGAF what she thinks or if she even knows about it but my highschool ex is still hung on me blush. I like the attention and having followed my dreams hasn't taught me better to not trauma bond and let abusers continue to exist in my life"

As many parents in my country say, you can't educate your girl too much, it'll be difficult to find a boy for her. So many parents all over the world sabotage their kids life. Thousands of girls with higher potential were told to dumb up so they can get a man. Makes my blood boil Edit: sad reality is most girls/women can provide a better life for ourselves than what a man can provide. So the above logic makes no sense, when the parents can instead focus on making their child self sufficient

I'm childfree but I was always afraid of having kids that resent me and would adapt the LV behaviors because it's really easy to be LV, it doesn't take discipline
