I would have loved for someone in the class to explain why I was wrong in the way that many of the people here have. I don't feel suppressed or censored or anything like that. You definitely understand the main focus of why I posted this. Quite a few people seem to have missed it. I appreciate your contribution.

This is very true. I plan on becoming as informed as I can with the system. With any luck I will get to a point of understanding where I can explain it to people that need help with it. On a personal note, I think you should stick around and try to fix things. It seems you have some good insight on these matters, and I bet you have more influence than you think on those around you. Do what you can to make a difference.

If responses in the classroom were anything like what I received here it would be a different story. This wasn't a matter of opinion so much. What I said was completely wrong. I could see one or two people agreeing with me in a small way. But they refrained from bringing up women's rights in their opinion. Which was met with silence and reason. Thanks for the reading, I will look into it.

I appreciate that your response sticks to the issue I brought up, and not how my comment was invalid. If I am pushed into taking a stance I will absolutely take this route. But until then I will decline to say anything. I'm certain it has already blown over and isn't a huge deal. Thanks for the comment.

Your classmate fighting that uphill battle was completely necessary. That is a good example of when Law 38 wouldn't necessarily apply in my book.

I am at the point in my learning from TRP that I feel like I have enough of a grasp to not get into situations like this. I can see how it could come across as excuse making, sure. My intentions were to show people that are near my same level that reasonable assumptions need not apply (AWALT if you will). I do appreciate your advice.

Fair point. But my concern wasn't with that they reacted, but how they reacted. It was my comment specifically that was met with emotion. After the emotional discharge it was immediately dropped (due mostly to my silence) and the discussion moved on in it's normal fashion. But, what power does the President hold outside of Congress? I was speaking specifically of his ability to pass a law all by himself. Care to explain?

I had such optimism initially coming into that class. It had all the appearances of a place that would understand that people had differing opinions. I didn't think for a second that I would witness a blue pill nuke go off like it did. That being said I am very happy for the experience; and I am more than happy to share the experience here.

I agree with this but only to a point. I asked in another thread about the difference between sticking to your beliefs and Keeping your mouth shut (48 laws of power). There are few women in that class. Easily 3 quarters male. It was incredible to me to see these men really living in that mindset. Even before TRP I have been weary of opinions and how they are influenced. I can't imagine ever being so worked up about something someone said.

I was fully aware of blue pill individuals. I had never seen a blue pill collective in the wild. The truly enlightening thing for me was the other people who were standing up for Trump (but were not mentioning women's rights) were met with silence and respect. The only issue was bringing something up that was remotely against women's rights. They didn't care about anything else. This was a perfect example of the blue pill mindset that does not allow any opinions against theirs to be spoken.

That thought was the last stand of my optimism for society. I have lurked TRP for around 6 months now. I'm still rather new to this. For someone in my experience level this was a reasonable assumption. I was mistaken. I hope others at or near my level can have me learn this lesson for them.

What I did was make the mistake of thinking that their value to me was the same as my value to them. Being a fan of political discussion I know how important it is to have dissenting opinion. I don't like talking politics with people that completely agree with me. I made the mistake of assuming that the people in the room felt the same way.
