How did that happen? It was everywhere when they started talking about monkeypox.

Do adults even ask this? Me and my wife never did. Unless she volunteers it, none of my business.

He did great, and will do so again in 2024. His bedside manner was offputting to some.

I liked it. There are other characters involved that are interesting to watch. It's about the reporter as much as it is Anna. Watched Tinder Swindler, and Inventing Anna was the next recommendation. I don't remember the first episode specifically, but overall, it isn't a woke-fest.

Not sure, I didn't work much in the fields my college qualified me for. In my opinion, college is taught to the lowest common denominator, just like high school. With the exception of maybe highly technical/specialized fields, I think any college degree qualifies you to be hired, not to do the job. It's a club you've joined; partied for four years, maintained enough wherewithal to graduate, don't let the uneducated peons know how insignificant it really is.

That's true for most college courses.

"most sex offenders are only on that list for urinating in public or near a kids playground..." You're missing my point. If you're preaching that most people on the list are there mistakenly, it's because you're on it.

And that's how "most" offenders get on the list?

I don't think that's true. I've gotten the sex offender email from the sherrif's dept. for years, and I've never seen that charge.

I fall in the same space. They are progressively leaving more and more people behind. It really leaves a wide swath available for the third-parties.

I got in trouble in elementary school once; a girl kicked me in the leg a few times, and hurt herself. I didn't even react, but I was accused of kicking HER!

To be fair, fighting used to be punches, kicks, and wrestling. Now you expect the possibility of weapons.

Yes, I do mean the summers. You're either naive, or a teacher perpetuating a fallacy. Teachers don't work any harder, or need a break any more, than the rest of us. And I don't want to pay them for their break. Whenever teacher salaries come up, it's annual, forgetting that they work 1500 hours to everyone else's 2000. And be real, most of them aren't working hard.

Pay isn't the only factor here, and let's not forget that teachers only work part-time. The field attracts a whole lot of a certain type of person, and "basic economics" isn't enough to change that.

A suspended jail sentence means you don't serve it as long as you don't violate parole. He also had 1 year of unmonitored parole. Sounds like the judge felt like they had to make a statement by convicting, but didn't actually want him to be punished.
