One of the greater takeaways I've gotten from this experience is that I haven't been selective enough about sending my energy into directions that it gets reflected back from. Across the board in my life so far, I think I've been pretty negligent in that department. I guess it's good that I recognize that, but it also clashes with who I am a bit and it's inducing a sort of paralysis in my decision making. I hooked up with a random girl like a month ago and while it was kinda nice in the moment the next day was... awful enough to make me not want to do it again.
