I'm not sure what California rape statutes contain, but in most jurisdictions rape occurs when there is penetration, regardless as to what is used to penetrate. If that's the law in California, then his penis being in his pants is irrelevant if he used his fingers.

That logic can be applied to support infanticide. In my opinion it all hinges on when a fetus is considered to be a human life. Most reasonable people would agree that within the first month it's just a clump of cells, and that in the ninth month it's a human life.

No, theft is just an action. The crime of theft has been codified by law, and the codification clearly doesn't pertain to taxation. Does not change the fact that my property is taken from me without my consent, clearly fitting the definition of theft.

A portion of my income is taken from me without my consent. Now, if asked I would consent because society is a lot better with a well funded government. But at the end of the day my property is taken from me, not given. That's theft.

After my very brief research on Google, it looks like women's cancer (ovarian and breast) kill around 70,000 women a year, and men's cancer (prostate and testicular) kills around 25,000 a year. The fact that women's cancer receives 15 times the funding of men's cancer is outrageous, but the fact that they receive more makes sense to me.

At some point it is. I think most reasonable people would recognize that if a fetus is at the point of being able to live outside the womb, it is a human being. The question is where the line should be drawn.

This is the kind of thing I'm most torn about. The vast majority of muggings are committed by men. That is an objective fact. Does that make it ok to assume all men are violent criminals? No, absolutely not. Just because I am male, does that make me responsible for the actions of other males? No, absolutely not. But is violent street crime overwhelmingly a "male crime?" Yes. Does that necessarily matter? I'm not sure.

In those European countries that give up to a year off, are the businesses the fathers work for subsidized by the state? They will obviously have to hire a replacement for the absent father until his leave is up, who pays the replacement's salary? Is the company paying two people for one job?

You do all understand that there is a huge difference between FGM and circumcision, right? FGM is the removal of the clitoris, the tissue responsible for the vast majority of girls to climax. As a circumcised male I can attest that my ability to climax has not been hindered at all.
