You gotta be willing to leave the social setting yourself and start new, sometimes that hot potato isn't worth it. I don't think its about staying single forever or hating women, but spending anywhere from 1 to 10 years establishing yourself financially so that you live as peaceful and simple a life as possible in order to maximize your satisfaction as much as possible in life is a good reason to stay single. Just get something cheap, what I'm saying is get out of all debt and loans and get a savings, you got a stem degree, focus on female after you've got your ducks in a row. If you can also marry up in wealth so you become even more wealthy, don't just get super wealthy and marry down. When I said get a house I mean something small in a low tax state, live minimalistically and pay that thing off asap, don't move up north where the taxes are off the charts and the prices are insanely inflated.

The US created: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Big Oil, Big Banking, Endless Wars, Big Pharma, the iPhone that brought texting into mainstream (and by the way, the 'dating app', a US invention), etc... I'd definitely say it's a western problem, last I checked Malaysia didn't create the primary problems of the world. People who commit suicide, but don't first at least just help the homeless or give their resources to people in need, they confuse me quite a bit. Facebook said they had an AI chatbot that they literally wouldn't release because it took like millions of reddit posts and processed them in a deep neural network, they said it came out 'too real'. Honestly, the AI doesn't have a soul, but in a way it's a reflection of yourself, in this sense AI is living as a mirror or projection of your own soul, I see how that in the future will work for some people's companions.

I never actually looked at it that way....that basically that whole limelight syndrom that came with social media or popularity complex was a factor in eroding self-determinism but it makes sense. Social media's had a profoundly negative effect on pretty much every culture it touches.
