There is a fine line between expecting dishonesty and letting dishonesty go withou accountability. Yeah they dont give a shit, but they say they do. And untill they are honest about all of feminism ill be the first one to say that they are filthy liars based in a racicst upper class Champaign ideology and anyone that openly identify as a feminist should be on a terrorist watchlist. If you dont explicitly decry the hainous acts of an ideology before agreeing with it is a tacit agreement of these …

And i never claimed they were, my point was that sourcing was at best limiting in pure logical substitution or recontextualisation, the goal of a logical substitution is to see if the logic of a given arguments holds up when taken out of its context. If you need sourcing for pure rethorical analysis you have to go to old philosophers because they codified these procedures of tought exploration. But at the start my message if mabe lacking a /s at the end meant that sourcing was superfluous to the…

Im sure to you this is a gotcha moment, but could you explain the relevence of your point to the conversation at hand?

Im all for academic sourcing, but i dont think a logical substitution to show the argument makes no sense needs sourcing... i mean source: socrates i guess

The thing is the market tends to regulate itself, if no one buys it no one makes it.

But that idea, brought to a logical end. Means holding people accountable of holding people accountable and that is, to me at least, a very unproductive way to improve society. We need a system to provide equal accountability to everyone. The problem is that what seems wrong for one person is what feels right for another but i am getting a tad too philosophical. I appreciate your perspective on that issue and you being even keeled about it.

whilst i agree on a philosophical level with your point, i would also like to warn you about the use of a collectivist mindset, that mindset is the tool of opressors and bigots that on a level removes accountability from bad actors and puts it on the group. This is where the "all men are pigs" mindset comes from.

this point is valid coming from an actual person in an ingroup space, the problem is when it comes from a corporate ad campaign.

Tbh i don't even want a man or woman as branding, give me a genderless app with anatomical muscle representation. I don't need to identify with my app i just want to not think about what to lift and how to lift it.

the thing is infanticide from sigle fathers is a number that exists you agree? so try to compare the percentage of infanticide from single mother... to even the infanticide rate of women as a whole and i would live to hear tour conclusions around that comparison.

then why should the statistics take that into account then?

so to you the father in the case of an absentee mother is allowed to kill their baby in premeditated way and should only get the charge of infanticide which is considered lesser involuntary manslaughter?

If you want the courts to tip in your favor, waste the police's time. Every time she strays one foot out of what the court ordered, call the cops and make them file a report. judges usually want to stay in cops good graces so they will help you not be a nuisance to law enforcement. Edit: i am not an attorney and this is not legal advice, it is at vest me regurgitating an attorney's words i saw on youtube
