Did you watch Inventing Anna? I don't remember her being portrayed that way. The reporter is the protagonist uncovering the story of Anna. If anything they show how cunning Anna is throughout the show by tricking you into believing her lies. If you think she's even remotely good/decent/positive in any way, you were scammed and bamboozled as well as her real life victims.
