I was raised Mormon so probably having those ideals forced down my throat and being very individualistic is what did it.

I think I was born resenting men cause I’ve never been able to put a male’s happiness before my own.

I haven’t seen the movie in years, but you just solved the mystery of why I always hated Triton.

You NEVER see them mix up "man" and "men", though. Well, trying saying the two out loud. “Wo-man” sounds like “wuh-min” where as “man” just sounds like it’s spelled. “Men” sounds the way it’s spelled too, but “wo-men” is like “wih-min”, sometimes “wuh-min” depending on the speaker’s accent. So yeah men are dumb and dehumanize us but I think this particular issue is more that men are bad at spelling too.

Got a friend request from some guy named “Prince” who found my blog and stalked out my Facebook through it. The first sentence of his bio was literally “I am the best,” and the rest was about how he’s just looking for new relationships and wants to get to know people. He commented on my one public post telling me to add him back cause he likes my writing. Lmao no

A few years ago when I was like 16 or 17, I accidentally made an imgur photo of a bad sunburn around my eyes (goggle tan) public instead of private. Some guy who claimed to be my age (I think he really was, just don’t remember how I actually verified that) started chatting with me. I was on the defense from the beginning because OMG a stranger is talking to me on the internet, but I let the conversation continue. We talked about swimming for a little bit, and then he asked me if I would ever hyp…

I threw a spoon at my older brother once and he called the police on me to report me for assault. The female officer showed up and laughed at him and told him not to be a fucking dumbass.

They’re pretty responsible, though they are also pretty relaxed. They have great relationships with their kids and treated me like one of their own when I stayed there (and that meant I was never able to skip school, lol.) I think the age thing is just a European thing. I knew so many kids in my class who were in serious relationships and their girlfriends/boyfriends slept over at their houses and their parents were totally fine with it. Doesn’t fly in the USA most of the time.

I got in a fight with a mutual friend on the way back from a concert about porn once. Never thought I’d be yelling at a guy about how porn harms women at 12am on the upper level of a train but there I was. And he was so defensive about it.

I’ve been on dates with women like this too. This one girl talked the entire date and I felt like it was going terribly because I wasn’t able to get a word in edgewise about anything I wanted to talk about. But afterwards she told me she really liked me and asked for more contact info, lmao. Still not as bad as dates I’ve been on with guys, though.

My little host sister is 16 and she’s dating a 21 year old. When her mom told me, I was shocked and kept saying wow, 5 years, that’s a huge difference at that age. Her mom then went off on me about how it’s actually fine because high school boys are immature and only care about partying and they like him, so what’s the harm. Shit like this is the harm. If high school boys are immature you do have the option to wait until you’re not in high school anymore... you don’t have to be dating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
