Herpes is made into a big deal when it simply isn't one Seems like a big deal to me. Then I would feel morally obligated to tell them before sex.

Yup. The further you can throw her the more you can trust her. Or I should say, the higher your smv the more interested she will be in trying to keep your trust.

I was never really happy with my car when I had it. She was great, like a brand new VW Jetta wagon, sporty, plenty of room for my baggage... but I always wanted more, like an Audi allroad quattro or maybe a Porsche. If I had waited a little longer I could have been able to afford the audi but I bought the vw because I really needed a car. Turns out she broke down and left me stranded on the highway in the middle of nowhere. Because of it I was late for work and lost my job, then the bank reposse…

Hahaha, no, pretty much everyone agrees that I'm an arrogant fuck. But I'm actually a genuinely nice down to earth person as well. We all have many masks. It use to bother me when people would say I'm over-confident or lack humility but since I've learned to own it and NGAF, I've found that regardless of what people say, my outgoing confidence is actually an asset that draws them to me, as well as making others jealous. When all of your friends call you devastatingly handsome; everywhere you go …

The thing that gets me is just how fucking stupid it is to judge people as a group, yet so many do it all the time. TRP is a group of individuals potentially guilty by association so we mostly remain anoynamous. Some of us are unapologetic misogynist assholes and some of us are nice guys trying not to get shit on by life and women. Some philosophers, some meatheads. There is misguided hate and love here. All kinds of men talking in an uncensored place about what maters to us most. Some of it eye…

AWALT doesn't mean that all women will act on the instinct to be hypergamous, it means that all women have the potential to, given the right circumstances.

Funny you should quote Paul Atreides. Didn't he choose willful ignorance and turn away from the Golden Path? Didn't Letto II come to a place of forgiveness and understanding as to why? Ignorance is bliss. Willfully choosing delusion could be considered wise or stupid depending on the circumstance. You are the master of your reality. Everything is amoral and your choice. Steadfastly pursuing the truth can liberate one's self. After that you may apply willful ignorance. Some things do not need to …

I think one of the most important things you can learn is knowing your limits and giving ample recovery time. And remember that everyone is different. Tune into your body. I'm 41, been doing crossfit for a few years. I've seen many people injure themselves by trying to do to much and ignoring their body. Then they're out for a long time and some never come back. I've seen a lot of guys in their mid 30s - mid 40s try to do what they did when younger and end up with knee surgery or something... My…

You took a huge unnecessary risk in telling him. In a perfect world it would seem like the right thing to do but you were literally risking your life. He might have become raging angry and turned it on you. If I was in his position I don't think I would want to know. I'd rather suspect and end it without knowing for sure. I certainly wouldn't want to know what the dude looks like who was plowing my wife. The images would haunt me.

Hey man, I understand your anger. You can have Black pride, Latino pride, Asian pride, etc. but you CANNOT have White pride. Same with sex, you can be proud to be a woman, gay, lesbian, trans, but you CANNOT be proud to be a heterosexual male. If you're a white strait man you're supposed to feel ashamed and privileged. This may all be true but getting angry and spewing hate speech only diminishes your personal power. It's okay to be proud of who you are but if you attach to your race or sex as a…

I never married her. We separated when my daughter was 1 (she's now 16), so I've had many years of dealing with a bitchy ex because of our child. What I mean by choosing to see her as a divine goddess isn't at all putting her on a pedestal, although I understand why it looks that way. I left her and continually find myself repulsed by her behavior, so I decided to try looking at her as the embodiment of the divine feminine who's womb produced my daughter rather than the bitchy entitled trustifar…

I cannot even begin to attempt anything but plan A approach. I'm a horrible liar and never really practiced because of morality and naivete. I think I also must be exceedingly animated and easy to read. The problem I've been running into is accusations of being overconfident or arrogant. I'm not sure this is a bad thing according to much I've read here, but when I'm accused of this and reflect on myself, what I see is confidence, playfulness and being direct. What others see is arrogance and nar…

Thanks for the validation and clarity. That's what my intuition tells me. I am blessed that I can feel so deeply, but it's a double edged sword that makes me vulnerable at times. My sensitivity and empathy are connected to my gifts and talents that make me one of the fortunate that do what they love for a living, but it also accounts for most of the pain and struggle in life. Mostly with women. TRP is helping me overcome the hopeless romantic side of my personality.

I am a performer by profession. My deep feelings with music is what inspired me to pursue my art. I could give a fuck what anyone thinks seeing me cry from the core of my being when moved by great music. This is my higher purpose that few will understand. My main reason for existence. Without the beauty of music life would feel pointless. For example, Mozart makes me cry all the time. His music is just so fucking brilliant and beautiful it blows me away...

Funny how women cry at weddings and men have almost the opposite reaction. I wonder if mothers are more likely to cry when daughters get married than sons?

Yes. I get this. Saw a guy who won a bodybuilding competition crying and thought to myself, he may be huge but he looks like a little bitch crying like that... I can see the don't cry at movies but to cry from being moved by music is something else entirely. I don't think I would ever want to give that up. The feeling is literally better than sex. One of the most euphoric and inspirational feelings I've ever know. Music is more important to me than women.

What about tears of happiness? Like when you achieve something you've been fighting for. Getting the gold or winning in some way. Or crying at a movie? I can get teary when the hero finally wins or something awesome happens. Never out of sadness. Or tears from a beautiful piece of music or art that has moved you? It's weird that the eyes water from feelings of bliss, joy, humor, accomplishment, justice, as well as from pain, loss, suffering and despair. I wonder what the evolutionary explanation…
