2	Regarding "submission".. You don't have to use words like Captain if that makes you uncomfortable. Submission to me means that I trust my husband to make decisions for us. I trust him to make decisions for ME. Even if I don't like the decision right then. As per my first post on this sub, these last few months have been next level crazy for my husband & I. 1	Regarding "submission".. If they have absolutely no options, sure, but generally women try to marry across or up. Men will marry a woman who: takes care of herself (physically and emotionally) and who he could see as a good long term wife (knows how to cook/clean/etc), is sweet, and who is stable and could be a good mother to his children (emotionally stable, good head on her shoulders).
