Excellent post. When you got to describing the shit tests, I could guess them even without reading. It's refreshing to see other men dealing with the same shit I do. It's eye-opening to once again see that AWALT.

Well I'm from Finland. Ever since opening priesthood to women the church's views have gone much more liberal and according to sjw talk points. All the while more and more people keep resigning from the church.

This is an interesting principle and something I've personally followed by accident at times. Lately I've started organizing a men's Bible study group and the meetings have been productive so far. It's also been a way for me to create a true male-only space. You're also probably aware but it says nowhere that there were three kings or that they even were kings of sort. Something that's always annoyed me for some reason..

She's actually specifically told me Remember, man, actions speak louder than words. Those thirteen previous guys, listen to them, as in, realize it for what it is, and do the math accordingly. As for the emotional side, remember, it's just chemistry, not magic. Like Dick-Tracy said, distract yourself. Lifting is recommended.

You need to be honest with yourself and ask why exactly you need attention from others. Seriously think about it. Personally I'd say you lack the baseline anger that usually unplugs guys. Spend some time at /r/pussypass, have an ltr where you do things according to the bluepill reality and get burned. Also, I hope the bit about the zodiac sing was a joke.

I've often endorsed The Way of Men by Jack Donovan. I also realize how positive masculinity is demonized nowadays. What we, as men, need is not some universal brotherhood (although men should definitely stand up more for each other in this modern age - and drop the white knighting) but rather a close knit tribe, a gang. The gang is a natural collective of men. We get quite a bit of talk here about women invading male spaces, especially in the military context. Now think about how the msm handles…

How long have you been married? Your story is eerily similar to mine, and I'd just like to give a heads up, that keeping it up like that, vanilla, is likely to bite you in the ass eventually.

Your mileage may vary. Personally I just started reading the blog from day one, and at the same time I was reading through other red pill blogs and materials. Athol has cut the first blog posts probably to get more book sales, so I'd just go for the book and go at it from the beginning. I got the feeling from your OP that you crave your wife's attention and love. I can tell from experience that this mindset is something that'll come out as neediness and will bite you in the ass. I recommend you …

MMSL is the bomb. I'm coming from a similar situation as you, things are doing great now, and MMSL was one of the biggest influences. Athol Kay's newest book is called The Mindful Attraction Plan, and it should be a pretty good overview of his ideas. Haven't read it myself though.

Well, it's a good start. I've been married for almost a decade, and I was a pretty stereotypical chump up until I came across these red pill ideas. I wouldn't postpone getting married or committing or whatever because I haven't 'mastered' game yet. It's not about women, not to me at least. Committing, moving in together, getting married, what have you, are things where you put yourself in a bad position in the socio-sexual context. You're basically betting against yourself. I don't think all thi…

I wouldn't worry about it that much if I was you. It's certainly good to think deeply what you want in life, and pursue that. As for starting a family, when it gets to the point, just try to settle with the best possible option. And even then, AWALT. I myself married young, with a woman some guys here might call a unicorn, and let me tell you, it's just the same shit. All women are like that. Like Rollo said in one of his recent blog posts, in a long term relationship, game is even more importan…

Look, it was a good post, quality content to say the least. I've just developed an aversion to this whole alpha/beta dichotomy as a classification of people because it's just juvenile. The term has its use and it's not this. Anyways, end of rant. It's true that I reacted a bit too strongly to this. Just sick of it.

It's shit like this that sometimes makes me wonder if I was in the wrong sub, namely thebluepill and its attempts at being sarcastic. The same effect is back in the day when you couldn't tell r/atheism from r/circlejerk. It's shit like this.

This is the downside of material assets. I can relate to a lot of what you're saying, except for the savings, the house, etc. part. Myself I'm piss poor (still a student), and been married for almost a decade now (married young). Post red pill my outlook has changed quite a bit. The fact that there's no house or anything holding me down, the idea of walking is not just bluffing. As a married man, you need your ammo for soft dread.

Hi Rollo, I ordered your book around Christmas and I really appreciate the content. It's a great introduction to the real shit. Anyways, I think a glossary of terms wouldn't have hurt the book. I'm thinking a person oblivious of red pill ideas will get really in the beginning with all the new lingo. Have you had any comments from total 'newbies'? Otherwise I love your concise writing style, and hope you keep publishing.

The idea is necessary for feminism and equality. Gender as a social construct is essentially a requirement in a thought system that promotes equality, between the sexes and even races if you want to go the whole way. Should one accept that men and women actually are fundamentally different, the whole basis of modern feminism is gone. That's why the whole social construct thing is so strongly promoted.

I'd say the pill is certainly a major factor in it. I need to dig around some studies regarding it. I think Rollo had only statistics which did show a very strong correlation though. And correlation doesn't entail causation, necessarily.

This is probably only because divorce/separation was taboo, and laws and societal expectations made couples work out their complications. We don't live in those historical periods any more, so defending the way it "used to be" is irrelevant for what we face today. There's actually a bit of debate about this in academia. What you proposed is one view, that marriages have always mostly been pretty bad, and it's the removal of taboos and the like, that made people freer. The other side of the argum…

There was a study recently about couples who had been close to divorce but ended up staying together. In the part where the paper discussed the divorce crisis, there was a bit about talking of getting a divorce. As per red pill wisdom, men communicate overtly and women covertly. In the study, it was pretty consistent that when women started talking about divorce, it was merely a cry of help, when men interpreted them actually wanting divorce, where the men replied,'fine'. All the women I talked …

I do substitute teaching every now and then, and happened to have one today in one of the local schools. It was kids between 13 and 16 years of age (don't know the term in English, since I don't live in the US). One kid today really stuck out to me. Previously I would've labeled him as a troublemaker, but bow I know better. He was making a lot of noise, and he bantered quite a bit with the other students. I also understood from the things he said that he has a strong father figure, seemingly an …

I fully agree with what you say about beta. A major gripe I have when reading the weekly askreddit 'worst subreddit' discussion, is when people project trp subs as neckbeards who define men into alphas and betas. And while I don't really care what someone would say about their idea of this subreddit's main demographic, the fact that this projection has probably the most truth in it, at least lately, bothers me. Especially when browsing new posts you see this a lot. This subreddit is also a place…

This is solid LTR advice. I've been internalizing these concepts for the last year after having been beta royalty. Seeking a womans love comes out as neediness and it always, always backfires. I'm still struggling to break old habits, and they keep creeping back every now and then. Especially the mindset. Maintaining frame is important here.

Jack Donovan has excellent insight on homophobia in general in The Way of Men. I recommend this book to everyone swallowing the red pill, and he explains it far better than me, but the jist of it is that it's not resentment towards homosexuality itself, but more specifically the fab5 flamboyant type. And the reason for this is that these queens openly despise masculine virtues through their behaviour. I'm sure there are reasons other than that on the individual level but Donovan's idea makes a l…

My kid will learn things through my behavior with my wife and other people. That is, if I manage to pull it off. But as a father, you'll be a role model no matter what. The talks will be had but in due time and moderation. I'll damn sure talk to him about plates once he begins his first relationship.

I think the point was that a 5-year old still sees through the bullshit, and despite Hollywood's storytelling efforts, a 5-year old will tell you which one of the guys was actually attractive to her.

You may pray that, but it might just be that it's necessary to go through a deep shitstorm, like being cheated on, until you can finally accept the red pill. Mere inexplicable frustration might not be motivation enough to just go "fuck this shit".

This is just damn interesting. Pre-TRP I would've taken his comments pretty much at face value and nodded in confused agreement. After a year of lurking I can see through the hamstering and notice the true meanings behind the words. "She's just not my type." It all just makes sense after all.

Keep reading, observe the world and lurk some more. I've been on the red pill diet for about a year now, and it seems the final stage from the "5 stages" post is upon me. Keep in mind that all this stuff is really fascinating, but there will probably be times reality really smacks you in the face. Just keep reading and improving yourself.

I think Rollo's plate theory is compatible with your situation. I'm not familiar with mormon teaching, but my assumption is that sex before marriage is considered a no-no. Now, if I remember correctly, I think Rollo himself states that plate theory is OK also with a worldview that excludes sex from dating for religious or other reasons. So I guess my point is, that you don't need to commit until you're absolutely sure you want to start a family with a certain woman. Spinning plates is the part w…
