We started with being sociable and we ended up with... "reading" women. As in (I assume) magically appealing to a woman's butterflies. (Quick note: the Spanish to English translation here could prove a bit confusing. "Reading" women and reading ABOUT women are two concepts. It's one thing to read a woman like a book, and it's another to be into feminist literature. As a Spaniard myself, the use of quotation marks in the word "leer" makes me think it's the 1st case. But if it wasn't quoted, that …

Oh God. I have trauma from my mother going through self-harm/suicidal psychotic breaks in my early teens and now I just realised someone could use that shit against me just like this.

Darn. Reading things like this is a huge wake-up call. I lack experience with women, but when female nature is fully exposed like these posts usually do, it just makes me anxious about any future interactions with women. I don’t want to be taken advantage of, but I’ll not exactly the most social guy, so I guess I wouldn’t be one to call the attention of too many women anyway, but when the situation has gotten to that point, the possibility of meeting a truly loyal and respectful woman just seems…

I have Asperger’s. As of now, I’ve felt that butterflies in the stomach thing like a handful of times, but not too many in my life. I guess it’s just that I haven’t truly fallen in love with anyone yet? Life’s weird, man.

I'm also in the spectrum, and maybe it's just because I'm relatively young, but I don't think I've ever experienced the typical romantic feelings everyone talks about. I've liked the personality of a woman, or had interests in common with her, or enjoyed how she treated me, but I've almost always been physically attracted to women over all that. I've called it love, and then attraction, but it was just moving goalposts. I feel a little guilty about that, and I wouldn't like to be so pessimistic …

Better Bachelor is a great channel. Yeah, Joker’s videos are pretty long, but if you have the patience (and heck, he’s wise enough for anyone to want to listen to him for half an hour) he has great lessons to give. I’m glad we have an interconnected web of content creators throughout our platforms.

Thank you. You know, I’ve been feeling a little bit disenfranchised with most current world events happening recently and these words are genuinely encouraging. It’s very nice of you to say all of this.

Thanks. It’s one of my all-time favourites. I’ve been spending these last few years trying to find myself and be firmer in my beliefs, and reading it did wonders. Of course, experience is the best teacher in that regard. Rejecting a woman’s attempt at using you is NOT sexist. That is probably the most powerful weapon in the culture war: the Overton window. Ideologues will shift it, and most of culture in itself, to utterly crush and cripple dissent. We can’t be their guinea pigs. We’re all bette…

crazy thot looking for beta I’m a lot younger than most guys giving advice here, but this sort of idea is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. Throughout middle and high school, I really wanted to hang out with the hot, “liberated” sex-crazed clique of girls and the few guys they’d hang out with. I simped really hard for one of those girls, too. The leader of that little clique was nice to me at first, but she’d always get angry at me whenever we had political debates. Pretty hardcore…

Points for Daft Punk, but poor choice of song for a girl who's not looking to "get lucky" in that way. Besides, if the whole point is to sell your body for a career in medicine, why do you claim not to want casual sex? There's little face to save with this kind of endeavor.

"No Jokers please" Is this person the single mum from Joker in real life? I mean, the one from the movie had only one kid, but still, it's an odd coincidence.

The usual "good man" expectations, buuuuuuuuuuut that 6'3 standard is going to be hard to meet.

The problem with nice guys and incels is that love has too many variables. Trying to understand love by approaching it with knowledge of just a couple of those variables isn't a good game plan and it's bound to cause emotional problems. Promoting their demonisation, like the Tighten post proposes, won't help them get better in society and this'll just stop them from getting any help whatsoever. If there's more nice guy villains in movies then the only thing you're proving is that if you don't ha…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
