True. You have to be OK with yourself first and foremost no matter what age.

Down to 221. Took 4 minutes off my one mile swim time. Taking a 30 mile bike ride tomorrow. The difference in how I feel after 6 weeks of counting and working out is incredible. I got down to a 38 waist and falling.

Good: My weight/loss conditioning program continues to go well. One month in now. Lost about 5 real lbs. I don't count the 10 in bloat that came off the first week. I have stayed away from weed. I have an 11 mile, 12 hill higher intensity biking course I use, and I have also added in swimming. I did a mile yesterday. I also signed up for a distance swimming/bike event next month. I am pleased with how this is heading. The Bad: I do find myself missing the company of women, and yes including gett…

I get it. Knowing when to just plain walk away is a good thing.

When you do it, it has to be with intent. In other words you have to truly walk away. If she comes back, she comes back, but you have to treat it like that is the end and be prepared for it to be. Half assed doing it is worse than not doing it at all.

I am really determined and its like it was so simple and right there in front of me the whole time but I didn't get it; simple math, bring in less than you put out. I do try and eat better too, but don't get too hung up as long as I stay under my number. So I have had pizza and had chips at times but always have stayed under. It really does work. My goal is 180 and a BMI of 25.

I am in week 3 of the program u/zahlix outlined. I started at 240 and am now at 227. The first part was bloat, but since I can see and feel the gradual improvement. I am biking 3x a week and doing some 3 mile walks. Have not gone over 2,200 calories in a day. since April 30. I was in a bad place. Smoking weed too much, eating like shit. I stopped with weed, got off social media as well. I am in a much better place spiritually. The women issue vexes me, but I have to come at it with a better self…

Boy have I been guilty of this. After my divorce its been a whole new world. The last year in particular has been very educational for me. I basically did everything wrong. Now I more or less am on a break while I get my body and mind right. When I enter the field again, I will have a much better understanding.

Its really about having the self confidence to stand alone. We are so conditioned by society that we need to be in this nuclear family paradigm in order to have happiness as an adult man, then when it falls apart in a divorce it is crushing to a lot of guys. Then a lot of us go right back out looking for the security of that, and its frustrating. Some people never get out of that. Others are fortunate enough to realize they can and do have fulfilling lives with friends, family, kids, whatever.

Here here. I still have Twitter, and I maintain LinkedIn for my professional contacts but got off the day to day affirmation and false drama of FB. Was the best thing I have done in some time.

Yeah. Pretty much. Then I was told I was 'shaming" sex and am not "sex positive" lol

Hey, I noticed on the sidebar that they added 2 rules, basically because of me lol. One is that sex shall not be "shamed" whatever that means. I said sex was cheap and the main rattlesnake attacked all over that. They also now openly forbid anything relating to MGTOW or TRP. Lol.

I "shamed" sex lol. I also indicated that I could see how men turn to MGTOW and TRP. That was like throwing gas on the fire.

I feel like a fool really for trying. I was married for 16 years. Yes, I went through the Divorce Industrial Process, took 5 years of financial damage (the rest of my life really as I had to burn my pension just to live). When I tried being nice to them it really blew up in my face. This has been very enlightening and I guess better late than never.

There are some guys there who agree, but stay quiet. I can tell because when I posted my parting shot, I watched the likes and they went up and down. It ended up at 0, but was as high as 5 and went up and down for a while. Not sure why those who agree stay there. Must think that is what they need to do to get some ass. Of course, I did it myself and it took a good fight on there to get me to come around fully.

The sorriest part is their attempts to curry favor with women. Its really bad on some of the dating subs.

I am no fan of Trump. I try not to be too political in general, but any man who has experienced the family courts finds it hard not to see things the MGTOW way at least somewhat.

Women are just brutal to each other in the workplace. I have seen women be way worse to other women than some guy boss.
