Because the media has brainwashed people into thinking men showing affection to other men makes them gay.

I've lost my mission. My mission was originally to complete my PhD so I could marry the woman I loved and build a life with her. Right before I finished my PhD, the woman I loved and grew up with cheated on me. I kicked her to the curb. Now I'm successful but not happy. I have no mission. I want to write a fantasy novel and I'm working towards that. But none of it makes me happy. I feel no joy. I'm tired all the time. I'm working on my retirement too. It will be great some day. I am saving to tr…

I'm like you except I still get depressed almost every day, and I'm suicidal at least once a week. I own a house, new car, great job, run a business on the side, have hobbies. But nothing is fun. I rarely ever experience positive emotions. I'm always tired. I'd be even more tired with a woman in my life. I don't even find women attractive anymore. How do you enjoy life? I just can't do it these days.
/r/MGTOW06/08/18 06:51 PM

Fuck that. I'm like you. I have my PhD and I own a house. I'm relatively wealthy for my age (late 20s). I'm also short at 5'5. I don't even get second glances from women. I am that much of a beta. I might have all the resources, but my genes are so bad women want nothing to do with me. And it's a blessing. Women will suck you dry. Your research will suffer. Create your kingdom. Build your castle and dig a moat. You don't need women.

This is dangerous thinking and invite you to stop sharing this opinion in a sub where men are hurting and possibly depressed. Source: Am therapist. Helped many beta men understand that their natural male inclinations are not something to be ashamed of, and to gain insight into why their relationships aren't working in the way they were told they should.

When I first was red pilled, it was simply about the true nature of females. Now I'm getting a whole new red pill with how introducing marriage or women into one's life is a way of inviting the government into your home. Fuck that. I am a free man.

This was me exactly. After I was red pilled I got in shape and fell for a girl. A year later I'm 40lbs overweight. I take full responsibility. I didn't swallow enough red pills. Were not together anymore.

Check your state's recording laws. If it's a one party consent state, record all your conversations in secret. Also document all interactions you have with her and the kids. The courts WILL try to screw you. If you have any info that shows how unreasonable she is, it may help.

I'll be real: my morning routine takes me almost an hour. I hate it. Wake up. Piss. (5 mins) Make breakfast. (10 mins) Eat vitamins. Shower. Shave. Brush teeth. (15 mins) Iron dress shirt. (5 mins) Put on t-shirt. Gel hair. (5 mins) Put on dress shirt and sometimes suit. (5 mins) Every fucking day. Only time prep takes 10 minutes is when idgaf on the weekends. How do you guys get away with it?

The term is AWALT: All Women Are LIKE This AWALT is not "All women ARE this". It means that hypergamy exists on a spectrum. Some are going to be more so than others. The reason this is useful is because men are raised under the "women is wonderful effect". (Google it) Ignorant men really think women are going to be perfect. Yes I agree the men picked the bad women in many cases. MGTOW and TRP is all about BOTH GENDERS taking personal responsibility. So when my ex of 11 years took me on vacation …

Most beta men do everything to try to help their gf feel better. We men have always acknowledged that women have their own feelings and thoughts, and traditionally we have tried to take care of them to help them feel better. Women don't even recognize that men have their own beliefs and feelings.

My relationship of 11 years ended when we were on vacation and I caught her sleeping with another guy. She told me it's my fault for being unavailable and that she resents me because I'm so awful to her. I was "unavailable" because I had been working on my PhD for 6 years. Exactly. I think all the media bullshit about transgender people is a way of obscuring that women are the problem. Most trans people just want to be left alone. If trans voices were actually heard, the reality of the system would come crashing down hard. But instead we get all this bullshit about Jenner and omg who used the bathroom?!? All to distract that our trans brothers have faced the truth up front. Again, I know there are a lot of people here who might not support LGBT groups, but you've …

I work with transgender people in my line of practice, and it gives a really intriguing picture on how men are treated in society. The vast majority of my female to male clients have shared how difficult life becomes when one is taken as a man. They are often happy with the transition but surprised at how tough it is, that men not only have to prove themselves to women but to each other. One ftm trans guy I know said it eloquently: "When I was female, the world gave me attention anywhere I went.…

Women are psychopaths. My ex of 11 years, the most important person in the world to me outside of my family, took me on vacation where she fucked another guy and I caught her. She blamed it on me, saying she had resented me for years for not being available (I was completing my PhD, was in the 6th year at the time). She moved out the weekend we got home and ghosted me. This is incorrect. Bad therapy will not be a solution. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad therapists. But if you get a good therapist, there's nothing better. Yes and no. Look, I am glad you are aware of your values, but be forewarned that holding the value of waiting to have sex has a major price tag. Your social skills will suffer. While everyone at college will be hooking up and getting dates, you will feel left behind. If you think you'll be okay with that, then go ahead. Personally, I was just like you. This makes sense. You cannot achieve the external without first tending to the internal. Else people feel hollow inside. Eating chicken demonstrates that even though I often do like who I am, that is not constant. However I do not think they must be worked on exclusively of each other.

Really glad to hear this. Science has shown that we inherit racist attitudes from our parents, and that the best way to reduce racist attitudes is to put someone in contact with someone of another race. It's great that MGTOW could be the vehicle for this. Meanwhile, the more we come into contact with women the more we understand their true nature. It's like Oneitis is the positive opposite equivalent of racism. Contact with the other person brings you closer to the truth.

"The blooming flower loses its petals too soon. Weeds grow where they are unwanted." This quote from Zen philosophy says that we often wish our circumstances weren't the case. We wish the flowers would stay eternally blooming, that weeds would stop appearing. But by wishing for the impossible, we become distressed. Wishing that women's nature was any different than it is will simply bring unhappiness. You can have a family. You can build that. But you will do so with the knowledge of AWALT.

Thanks, though the women thing isn't the tough part for me. I've been red pilled for two years, I know what chaos they can bring. It's more that I'm having difficulty building discipline, especially with eating. I don't know why I binge ate last night and why I can't relax.

TRP's fundamental theory says the opposite of this. It states that by bettering oneself to get women, you will repel women because you are needy and desperate. But by nature of bettering oneself and focusing on your needs, women will be more attracted to you. This does take some male hamstering to wrap your head around. But it makes sense because it teaches men that the way to be attracted is to put yourself first and divorce yourself from the outcome of your attempts to meet others.

I like to believe that men who take the red pill always knew somewhere in their heart the truth about women. I was red pilled in 2017. Yet I go back through the music I listened to and the novels I've been writing, and the themes of red pill thinking have been there all along. On a subconscious level, we all know the truth. It's a matter of whether society gives permission to accept that truth. Modern society says you are evil for thinking this way. Yet there are these safe spaces (LOL) where we…

Because the System is rigged against men. The women with money will have more money when they cheat on the husband and the court sides with her. Because women change over time psychologically after marriage, childbirth, and menopause to the point of being unrecognizable to the honeymoon period. Because the modern 18 to 30 year old woman wants thrill seeking and sexual fun before her looks fade and she gets locked down with a boring 9 to 5 nice guy.

I mean this with all due respect, but going TRP or MGTOW without a systematized, organized way of understanding why TRP and MGTOW work is just asking for trouble. Concepts like holding frame are well studied in social psychology. Group dynamics, systems theory, and power hierarchies are all well-researched parts of human behavior. These terms (which I would consider TRP terms, not PUA) are shorthand for ways of interacting with others and recognizing group dynamics. When I speak with a coworker …

Ah, I absolutely see your point. However, I must respectfully disagree with regard to the shit test. Here is how it would usually play out: I'd be running my hand on her, take a few kisses, do whatever to initiate sex like it would usually work. If she said no, I'd simply say OK and turn away from her and go to sleep. Most of the time, I would pass the shit test. She would start touching me, get closer to me, etc., and try to initiate sex. You're welcome. Remember that with MGTOW you have a lot of kids who are around 18 who still act like teens and think its hot shit to shit all over women, and then you have people in their 40s and older who take it for what it is: a philosophy on how heterosexual cisgender men should live their lives, under the presumption that cisgender women are biologically programmed to interact with cismen in a specific way. People who subscribe to MGTOW believe that men are better off without heterosexual r…

If you were assigned male at birth, you're going your own way by closing the gap between your physical expression and subjective experience of gender identity. GYOW is going to be different for each person, and for some people that means leaving one's male identity. Overall, MGTOW has little to do with gender identity and expression. It's simply a lifestyle choice on how to include others in one's life.

The logic of TRP and MGTOW is that women act on emotions, not logic. When a guy "just gets it" it means he gave her the tingles. Women don't know more than what has been reinforced to give them tingles. I really don't believe this is a conscious process.

I disagree with this statement under 4.3: "Accurately assessing relationship interest is crucial to ensuring a woman does not leave an investing mate for one who is unwilling to commit." We do not see this in human female behavior. Most women who cheat do so with people who are unable to commit. I listen to a lot of jazz. People tend not to like jazz for whatever reason. But for me, it is just good for the soul. A few nights ago I realized I've never met a woman who likes jazz. I know some jazz singers who are female, but that's different. I'm talking a girl who appreciates Corea, Davis, Ellington, Coltrane, or Monk. I'm a psychotherapist IRL. I see what you are going for, but the science of behavior change does not match what you are saying. Rollo's blog constantly says that getting men to talk about feelings is part of the feminine imperative and that this behavior needs to be shut down. This is true to an extent. Society is conditioning men to "feel for feeling's sake". It is teaching men to ignore critical analysis of their feelings. The result is "feminized" men who bitch and moan about how they feel an…

These are women I would actually prefer to have in my compa…

The thousands of MEN who are veterans of our military who cannot function because of their flashbacks, hypervigilance, and avoidance would disagree with you. Saying that PTSD is just a "voted in" label does as much harm as the hamstering woman who uses "PTSD" as an excuse for her actions.

Baby face. I look like I'm 18 but I'm 28 and have a PhD. People don't believe me. Doesn't help I'm short either. Again I try to game it away but it ends up being a "you're so nice that's so cute" kind of thing.

Question on the "nice" comment. Idk what it is about my face or body or personality but I repeatedly get hit with a "you're so nice" literally within one minute of approaching most women. My friend didn't believe me so I bet him I could get 5 girls to say this to me across the night and sure enough it happened without fail. I treat it as a shit test and agree and amplify. It keeps the conversation going, but it usually devolves into one of the other IODs listed above. I wonder if my chances are …

I appreciate your help, and I want to clarify my question a little more. I have come to accept women's hypergamy as an innate evolutionary mandate. That aspect does not burn as much as it first did. What I have not come to accept is HOW women go about their hypergamy. My ex went about hers by manipulating me into spending $1000+ on us going on this trip so she could meet another man. This was an incredibly disrespectful way of going about her hypergamy. If she broke up with me and was forthright…

I struggle with the opposite of this. I rarely tell stories about myself and I don't seek validation. This makes it very hard for people to get to know me, because they know nothing about who I am. With women, this is a mixed blessing. On the one hand, it allows for their imagination to run wild. The less they know about me, the more they project their alpha fantasies. On the other hand, I have no skill in telling stories which makes it difficult to game or handle shit tests etc.

What do you do if she calls you "nice" within the first 30 seconds of talking? I approached a girl at a clothing store and after laughing at my joke her first words were "You seem like a nice guy" and then went on to talk about her boyfriend. Is that a sign just to move on?

When all this happened, I did not know about TRP's existence. This entire story is the reason I discovered TRP. Chill bro.

I don't have inner game yet. That's my first goal, compared to all else. It's easily my biggest weak spot and will show through no matter who I try and pick up. What do you recommend would have been the appropriate way to have handled the situation when I was at the convention with her?
/r/TheRedPill10/04/17 09:22 PM

No, she made it very clear AT FIRST that her intention was romantic. She kept telling me about how we wouldnt actually go to the convention and would spend the entire time fucking. It was constant, repeated "I can't wait to see you and to do the things I'm going to do to you." And 12 years ago? Absolutely not. Just over a year ago she was talking about moving in with me after I graduate. Beta bucks, sure, but we have been together multiple times in the fairly recent past. Which is why this sudde…

Why is this /s? I absolutely could have done all those things had I known about TRP. If I had TRP I think the emotional overinvestment would have been reduced and it's ultimate impact on me would have been much easier to handle.

Interesting concept, and it makes sense. I am confused about which I am, though. I was very clearly her Plan A at one point, and Plan B at others when she was dating other people. Again, I was dating others too. I must've been backup boyfriend on this trip I guess.
/r/TheRedPill10/04/17 05:04 PM

It's a matter of Frame Control. I lost my cool and entered her frame. By entering her frame, I immediately lost the argument. Women think by emotions first, logic second. Entering her frame legitimizes how she feels, so no matter the logic I used she will still feel as if she is right. The proper response when a woman is yelling at you is stoicism. Just don't respond. Like with a child, you wait until they calm down and their tantrum is over. You then go ahead doing what you want within your own…

She stated that she absolutely expected that I would settle down with her and that I made her wait too long such that resentment built up. She clearly had interest at one point. What she says doesn't matter though, it's her actions that show how she truly feels. Which is why I completely disagree that she did nothing wrong. You don't invite someone on a big trip, tell them it's to make your relationship with them grow closer, and then ignore them almost the entire trip. Imagine if this was a guy…

Fallback plan. This entire time I've been trying to puzzle what she got out of me being there at all. I guess that's it. That's really helpful, thanks. I am sufficiently angry at myself for all my blue pill ways. I have a tough time being angry at others. I tried to express that anger towards her and she told me she doesn't know what I'm talking about and that I'm the one at fault. If it was a man doing that to a woman, it'd be called gaslighting. Yep, not fucking her was mistake #1. Mistake #2 was entering her frame. If I had just let her have her tantrum like a child, if I had just stayed stoic, it would have blown over. At the time, I was thinking "Don't listen to her words, listen to her actions" but that didn't help. I haven't soft nexted her, I have hard nexted her. We haven't spoken. I was 100% sure he was more beta than me LOL. He was buying her gifts and shit the entire time. Problem is, I did that too. Man, I want to slap myself. I never thought that AMOG really is what a man with weak frame relies on. Neat idea. My entire reason for being there was for her. I wouldn't have gone otherwise, which is why I was so upset. Made it hard to pass her off, but now I see that that would've been the right move. Let her suck up some other man's resources.
/r/TheRedPill09/04/17 09:19 PM
5

That's the thing -- does she really not care about me? Or am I responsible for her not caring, because I acted like a beta? I keep thinking that if I behaved better (initiated sex, kept frame, took her away from the guy and his group) she would have treated me better overall because I provided leadership and direction. If AWALT, then no woman actually cares about any man except their children.

Thank you for the support. Yes, it's incredibly difficult to see how poorly you are behaving and feeling when you are in the middle of it. This is probably my oneitis talking: but was it really inexcusable? If I had taken the lead and set appropriate boundaries like an alpha should, I feel like she would not have acted out. I feel like I should take responsibility for what happened. Are you saying that it's her fault too?

I respect your viewpoint that men need to be responsible for their decisions. My hesitancy is that women manipulate weaker men, so I question whether the beta in this situation is actually choosing this. As much as I wish I could say this was limited to a fetish, I'd place my bets that the cuck is a beta bucks in the relationship outside the bedroom. Masculinity is being threatened in modern society. I believe we each share responsibility in keeping it alive, and part of that involves teaching v…

Abdada, since I started reading TRP I've always respected your posts. Idk what it is but you have a way of writing that is recognizable so in the middle of reading I go "I bet this is an abdada post" and sure enough it is. Part of why I didn't initiate with this poly chick is because she is in the same industry as me, which is incredibly small. If you read the entirety of my post, you would realize that all happened before I discovered red pill. I have to disagree with the OP. The tl;dr is that AWALT and "She's not yours, it's just your turn." Making yourself "her only option" is blue pill programming at its finest because you will NEVER be her only option no matter how good you are. Example: I was in an LTR with my oneitis until recently. Agreed on most points except #2. If you become known as the person who gives things and does favors, then people do not feel motivated to return favors.
