6	Toxic Masculinity That was pretty good insight. You weren’t outright taught to be “manly” but shown the example of the beneficial and healthy way to deal, from the masculine figure in your life, with the inevitability of difficult life situations. Pragmatic was a great word, and I found it helpful to see it as stoicism rather than “masculinity”. So thanks for helping give me a new perspective!
