YUP!! Frankly I think this is #yesallmen not just LVM. I have yet to find the Unicorn HVM that doesn’t behave EXACTLY like this. As much as I don’t wanna end up a lonely old maid, I’m just so tired of men’s bullshit. Honestly.

This is one of those funny Memes I want to share publicly but would immediately be branded as problematic

Omg. SO. MUCH. THIS. And when I called him out on it he gaslighted me saying I have a “victim mentality” and am a “melodramatic” girl who “holds a grudge”... meanwhile he will not resolve conflict (holds a huge grudge), says I berate him when all i do is enforce my boundaries (his victim mentality), and he says that me simply texting him is “triggering” (rather melodramatic). He is the biggest hypocrite I’ve ever met and yet he has SOOO MANY LOVED ONES that he treats very kindly so they believe …

I dated a guy once who thought these types of jokes were hilariously endearing. He is almost 41 and has never had a real relationship.

Worsen still - a conversation about how you feel isn’t supposed to end in ... the ending.

I just hate men cuz they leave you when you’re used up. I have a theory that all men are commitment phobic.

Maybe it’s cuz I’m not from Florida but what’s wrong with a beach date? Sounds awesome.

I just wish they’d stop with the deception. Just. Do like all the other creeps and get on tinder to admit you just want casual sex. Don’t trick us into believing you’re the one so you can get the mind-blowing sex that comes with emotional intimacy. That shit should be earned but these dudes cheat the system and LIE. For folks who say that woman play games, men love to pretend everything is just fine when they’re inwardly plotting their betrayal. Calling it soul-searching. It’s called LYING mothe…

Preach! I thought I was doing him right by building his self-esteem and feeding his ego. I mean it wasn’t hard or fake - I adored him. But while he was reaping those psychological benefits of my emotional nurture, the imminent emotional trauma inflicted on me was looming just around the corner. Seriously - his next girlfriends absolutely saw the fruits of my labor and got a SUPER confident man who was an amazing boyfriend cuz he’d learned from his mistakes on me while he didn’t have to correct o…

Well. If they for that extra incentive then it isn’t immoral to leverage it as the exact incentive that was offered.

There’s no guarantee someone will pay for dinner if you have a dinner date. This question doesn’t even make sense. How could a woman possibly know if the guy was gonna pay for her?

This is why I think some people might find it funny. It’s just too universal. So it’s nice to poke fun with others who understand.

It actually made me giggle. Cuz it’s sooooooo true. It’s easy to laugh when it’s not my shitty husband. Hahahahah

Unfortunately, it’s not a lie. It’s just a shitty truth. That it is shitty doesn’t make it false. Men give to those women who don’t ask because they want to be a knight in shining armor and feel an ego boost of hero worship. If you ask, they find you a “nag.” Do men suck? Ummmm yes. Is it reality? YES! Just because you dislike something doesn’t make it go away. It makes me sad. All the time. Because men leave me when I’m too “needy,” a “nag” or some other shitty spin on what I simply see as comm…

That’s not what I meant at ALL. What I mean is - because we all have hundreds of thousands of likes, we will never seriously consider any one of them. We will probably never meet up in person with a lot of men who may have actually been amazing for us. Because we have so many options we have to arbitrarily filter out some. If we actually had fewer options we would be more open minded and maybe even find the one.

There’s a really good radiolab episode on the allusion of freedom with choice. Human beings actually tend to thrive when decisions are already narrowed down for us.

But it actually works in their favor because the apps force them to make a decision. It’s easier for them to have success in this way

It’s because women want a life partner and men want a “companion”... aka a pet. Men just want pets they can fuck. Women want someone they can share their life with.

I’m a doctor too. Honestly it doesn’t get easier. Heartache hurts. In fact the higher up in the social ladder I climb, the higher up the guys social status is too. It’s getting harder to mitigate my heartache with one upmanship. Because the men I date are fucking incredible and accomplished. Rejection still feels exactly the same.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
